has anyone ever tried this 5v passthrough?

Okay, I got my 5v passthrough a couple of hours ago. I wrapped the wire really well to the bottom of the unit. It works perfectly. I haven't had too much time to play with it yet. I tried 2 of my fave juices. I really liked my Choc Irish cream mint at 5v with an sr Boge carto, but I prefer my tangerine/orange cream in my eGo with a 2.0. I will need to find more time to experiment. I do like the very warm drag from it. I very much like that there's no cut off, at least, I don't think so. I like to drag multiple times on the same "button push". It went for 15 seconds.

Not quite ready to form an opinion yet...I think it depends on the juice. Perhaps my fruit flavors are too delicate for 5v vaping.

I do have a VV passthrough coming from Gotvapes that vapes at 32., 3.7, and 4.2. That will be interesting.

I can relate to that (no timer). I often take several drags during one button push, sort of like puffing on a tobacco pipe. It's hard on the equipment and goes through juice fast, but what the hell, it's what I enjoy.

Just got mine in the mail. Like a kid on Christmas morning, I ripped into the packages (both the 2amp power socket and 5v passthrough came in today). I plugged it up, screwed on a carto...

Absolutely nothing. None of that sizzle. No vapor. Cold and dead.

I ran it over to my regular chargers, and tested the adapter. The USB charger lit up green. That works. It must be the 5v passthrough. Did it work right off the bat?

I opened my Christmas present, and it was broken. Bummer!

What a bummer for you!!! I actually ordered 2, and they both work well. Mine worked immediately. Did you get the same 5v PT I did from electronicstix?

I've been playing around with mine with 3 different juices. I do really like it, but I can still appreciate my eGo with the same juices.

I think I'm going to eventually end up with a VV or a bunch of separate mods for different vaping moods. I have found my "sweet spot", and it's everything, as long as it doesn't burn my juice or ruin my equipment.

But, then again, I'm just like that in general. I don't have a favorite color or a favorite food, and I already know I'm a flavor junkie when it come to vaping.
