Best 808 tto 510 adapter for the MVP?? And ego thread covers

After doing much mod shopping and research I have, against my original box mod opinion, decided to go with the MVP 2.0. Makes sense to just get the SI version since I am already much money in. But the thing is I have been really wanting to try some other delivery systems out there. Specifically the iClear 30 and iClear 30s. So obviously I need an 808 to 510 adapter. I know there are many out there but which one would be the most trouble free???

Also I ran across these ego skirts.

Would these work to over up the ego threading on the MVP when using a 808 to 510 adapter to dress it up a little???

I'm using this 808 to Ego adapter on my Volt MVP:

You can also use 808 to 510 and 510 to Ego adapters coupled together but they add more space:







The 808 to Ego adapter that I use in the first and second photos is completely trouble free. The two adapters coupled together can be a slight problem when unscrewing clearomizers. Otherwise they work fine.

How's the Pro Tank look on the MVP2 using the 808 to 510 adapter??? Can you use the beauty ring???

I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you. That's an old photo. I discarded my Protank shortly after I got my MVP. I got frustrated with it and tossed it in the trash. I honestly don't remember ever using it on the MVP.

Not at the moment, no. My larger clearos are Evods and SmokTech Aros which are all Ego threaded. I just ordered an IBTANKED carto tank today but it won't be here for several days.

NP. I just wanna see how a 510 delivery system would look on the MVP with the adapter and beauty ring. If the ring will work with it.

If you don't get your answer by the time I get home from work today I can take a photo of the beauty ring and the adapter installed on the MVP. It won't have a delivery device on it but it might give you a good idea if it will work and how it might look with a tank or clearo attached.

Cool. That will actually work. It will give a good idea if it sits high enough to fit. And if so that it doesn't make it so high that it looks silly.

Looks like it would definitely work but there would be a space between the tank and the top of the beauty ring. Also, I noticed that the 808 to 510 adapter covers up the air holes on the MVP. The same thing happens when I use the 808 to Ego adapter and it's not a problem in that case. I still get plenty of air.

Well I broke down and bought an MVP 2 today. But sorry I didn't go with the SI version. I went with the regular 510/ego version. Two big reasons are I really wanted the blue. And I wanted to try some 510 delivery devices and have them actually fit right. Bought it at our local vape shop. But I won't be ditching my SI family completely. I picked up an 808 to 510 adapter so I will still be using my Volt batteries. And my gf is using my SI/Halo stuff now that I have her vaping. It suites her needs.

The only SI systems that don't work are those that use ego threading. The T3 was easy to change as I simply bought a new bottom piece designed for the new removable heads as for the others I simply bought one in that style for the 540 systems. If you use the Aspire stuff look for them in 510 and save yours as you only have to change the bottoms and in some cases the head. The heads on the SI don't always work either on the 510's.

Just for the heck of it, here's that IBTANKED carto tank I've been waiting on and what it looks like on the Volt MVP with the required 808 to 510 adapter:
