Hey guys, I searched the forums for paint chip related topics. Most of them just had the OP remove the paint all together. But I just noticed a small spec exposing the copper underneath the paint on my pegasus clone. (should of went with the full copper ver, but couldnt resist how it looked in white), see pic.

No idea how it happened. I was handling it carefully and didn't drop it or anything.

Is there a cheap fix to patch that up?
Perhaps with some kind of hobby paint pen or something?
Or should I just deal with it and enjoy the performance?

Its such a small spec that I don't want to remove all the paint, nor do I want to spend more than what I paid for the mod to fix it. (if thats the case i would rather buy another mod)

Best regards.

I'm gonna have to admit it. . . I'm clumsy. The first scratch or dent is always the worst. Sort of like on a new car. After that. . . let's just say I think it adds character. Anything that I use as much as I do mine, is bound to get scuffed up. Others may have some good suggestions for you. Happy vaping.

I know what you mean. I was quite shocked this morning when I discovered it lol. Oh well, should of known that it was coming, considering it being a fairly cheap clone and all. You're right about it adding to the character. Its probably bound to chip over time anyway regardless, giving it that torn look.

Suggestions are still welcomed.

Happy Holidays!

My mech and sigelei are the same way. As much as they get used and as clumsy as I am, I'm just glad they are still working and look pretty good. Although I did almost have a stroke when I dropped the sigelei out of the car the first weekend I had it. I picked it up and it still worked so off I went. haha

Either refin the whole thing with something of quality or get used to it.

Engine ceramics are pretty tough as far as easily available spray can finishes, but either you let them cure for few weeks or heat treat (bake) it for a few hours otherwise they won't be much stronger than your typical hardware store paint.

Happy New Year everyone. Didn't realize I had new responses on this topic. Thank you guys! I'll see if any chick friends I know have similar white tone nail polish since its such a small spec. If not I'll probably go shopping for some spray paint or a hobby paint pen. If it just ends up chipping all over the place ill probably just remove all the paint and turn it into a full copper mod.

Best regards
