I have a 5v mod for a 801 atty but I bought an 801 to 510 adaptor and a 801 to 901 adaptor. After using all 3 attys at 5v I found that the 801 performs the best (just my opinion) but the 510 isnt bad either. The 901 is ok but I prefer it at 3.7 much more. The main trick at 5v or 6v is to make sure your atty is super wet and once you start to barely taste the hot burnt taste drip more or top off your cart. I was dripping 3 drops on my 801 at 3.7v and it was fine but I found that for the best taste and enjoyment on either my 5v or 6v mods that I need to drip 5 drops. I thought this would flood the atty but I haven't had any problems for over a month of high voltage vaping. Hope this helps

The new GG HV 901 atty.... Watched a video and saw it burn for a solid uninterrupted 5 minutes..... Nothing matches that......

I don't think why other model can't match that, at least my 510 atts
Nick.

He has set these up as High Voltage Atomizers...he's done this by raising the resistance of the coiled element within the Atomizer....Esentually you're supplying 5v's to the Atomizer but only getting the performance of 3.7v....seems like a waste of voltage to me

In General(Damn i'm probly going to screw up these numbers, i dont have my multimeter on me...so these numbers we will call Random)

a 510 is about 2-2.5ohm
a 901 is 2.5-3ohms
801 3-3.5ohms

at 5v's
510 = 10-12.5 Watts(VERY WARM, LOTS OF VAPOR, Kind slightly burnt taste)
901 = 10-8.4 watts (Warmish, Good vapor, Good taste)
801 = 8.4-7.14 watts(Colder, less vapor, Great Taste)

In my experience, they all perform satisfactory at 5volts. The biggest factor of separation among the three is longevity. It seems to me that the 801 lasts the longest when using at 5v. The 901 would follow and finally the 510. Most mods run somewhere around 1 amp when delivering 5 to 6 volts. While a USB pass through will deliver 5v at only a half amp, unless it has an inline battery, then it only runs at 3.7v.

Where did you find your adaptors :confused:
