AW LiFePO4 3.2V are the best way to go ! also run the Iken 3.5ohm 510 Atty, this set up is awesome !!! unless your a 306 kind of guy then run the HV-306. I run the AW's with this 510 set up and it really is super on the Grand

The LiFePO4 R123s are the same chemistry - still the same. Some sellers market them as 3.0V but they are actually 3.2V nominal and will come of the charger somewhere around 3.36 but the 3.5ohm Atty can and will handle this no problem.!!

Was wondering what would be the best batteries for me to use to make my Grand 6 volt?

Also what Ohm atty should I be looking for after I change to 6 volt?

Thank You

i think IMHO that the tenergy 3v protected rcr123a batts are best cause they have a protection circuit built in and they are 900mah and an atty that is between 2.5Ω and 3.5Ω is best

I have Tenergy protected 3.0V RCR123A's and they fit in my Grand just fine. Are you using flat top batteries?

Try the AW's Mud, I find they are the best and hit harder for some reason than the Tenergy Batts, but I havent purchased Tenergy in a long time so I dont know if they have improved or not, either way the Grand at 6v with an Iken HV-510 on the top is a dam good vape, I flood those 510's and hit them hard all day vaping like this and it's the only thing that out vapes me to a point I have to set the unit down !!!

I believe you, mwa. I absolutely love my AW 18650 IMR batteries. I'm sure their 3.0V batts work great too. My luck with attys has been lousy lately. Weak taste and weak vapor or tight draw or just yuck. I'm waiting for an ultra-sonic cleaner to arrive so I can give my current inventory a good cleaning. For now I'm getting by with LR cartos and 3.7V & 5V batteries. I'm also playing around with CE2 tanks just for fun and to loan out to smoker coworkers & friends so they can give vaping a test drive.

The WF-188 has a 3v setting, doesn't it? If so, then yes. :)

I don't know the reason, but supposedly Tenergy lifepo4's are supposed to be charged "only" in their tenergy charger... It may be BS. I have a WF-188 due in today, and some Tenergy's due in a few days. I will see for myself if it makes a difference which charger is used... Also waiting on payday to aquire some aw lifepo's that will charge on the 188 for sure!

I have always used Tenergy lifepo4's in mine and they work great.
Thanks doots. I figured it was just a way to drum up business for their own chargers...
Well I have both the Tenergy and AW sitting here brand new .... as soon as my attys arrive I will let you know if I feel any difference between them.

I think the biggest difference will be in run times... Let us know what you think Tim. :)

I charge my Tenergy Battery's in my trustfire charger all the time. I have never had any issues.

MWA I am going to take your advice and give the AW LiFePO4 3.2V and some IKENVAPE atty's a shot hopefully they will be what I am looking for as I am going broke over the past 38 days looking for that perfect vape.

The perfect vape is elusive and rare, if you ask me. (I know, you didn't ask me)

You might save a few bucks by changing your mindset to "I'm looking for the pretty good vape."

I say this not to be a smart alec, but because I've found that so many variables are involved that can throw off your vaping experience. What gets me the most is my own taste buds. They don't perceive flavor consistently thru-out any given day. If I vape any juice for too long, it will gradually become muted and blah.

There's other factors too. Atty/carto performance, battery voltage drops, juice consistency, etc.

I now just puff because it helps me stay off analogs and if it isn't as good as it was at other times, I shrug it off. I know the really good vapes will return before long.
