I actually own two Sony VTC 5's from a while back but unfortunately they are seeing the end of their life and I need to replace them. I know EFest is a somewhat unreliable company, but 101vape consumer reviews of the EFest 35A 2500mAh are outstanding. Any thoughts from anyone who owns one of these EFest batteries and has tried it in a mech?

Yes they are good batteries i have about 5 but they are actually 20 amp the 35 amp is the pulse rating. So the absolute lowest you would want to go possibly with out going over the continuous rating is .21 ohms. I havent been under .34 and get excellent vapor production.

Thanks! Given this information, which of the two would you suggest, EFest purple 2500mah or the samsung 25r? Most people say the HE2 is great for box mods but not so much for anything under 0.4

The HE2 is the same battery as the purple e fest 2500 mah 35amp batteries. I went looking for batteries today and one shop had fake Sony vtc 4 batteries for $11.99. I saw those and laughed, i bought a 2 bay nitecore digital charger and left. I did buy 2 e fest purple 2500 mah batteries from a different shop but they are still charging

I plan on using them on a hcigar penny mod clone with a hcigar darkhorse rda clone with a dual coil .31 ohm build. At 4 volts that should give me 51 watts and that should be more then enough for me

I can't imagine using a .2 ohm build that has to be about 80 watts

From what I've seen online Sony doesn't even make those batteries anymore and it's almost impossible to find real Sony batteries online. Someone on here posted something saying xtar i think is the same thing as the Sony just under a different name but i cannot remember the place he said to get them from
