I think everyone's going to have their own opinion as to what the best battery is.

My personal favorite is the iTaste MVP 2.0 because of the variable voltage and wattage, incredibly long battery life, and makes my iClear 30s put out quite a bit of vapor. Plus, being able to plug a USB cord into the bottom of it and charge my phone in case of emergency is a great feature to have! I also just really like the feel of box mods- and I'm so glad because my backup unit arrived in the mail today.

So far for the past month my MVP is running strong with no problem, and I expect it to last awhile, but it helps owning a backup unit in case something does fail :) Overall though it is very reliable! Mine's already survived 2 drops with no visible damage, even though they don't recommend it dropping (duh, it's an accident lol) and so I'm thrilled that this works so well for me :)

What is the group opinion on "BEST" battery ?

I think the battery you choose depends on what style of vaping you're going for. If you just want something easy to carry around in your pocket, I would say go with something like the Vision Spinner. If you want a variable voltage variable wattage mod I would go with something like the SVD with and Efest IMR 18650. Now here's where the battery you choose gets crucial, if you want to get into sub-ohm vaping and blowing massive clouds of vapor, you're going to want a mechanical mod and either and MNKE 18650 or a Sony VTC4. The reason the battery you use in sub-ohm is so important is because a lot of the batteries out there won't be able to handle the load that say a .3 ohm coil will cause. Hope that helps!

As already stated. The Sony VTC 4 is great for low ohm builds with 2100 mah and 30 amp rating. I drip at around .5 ohms pretty heavily for up to 3 or four hours and switch them out at between 3.2 and 3.4V. I have two VTC5's on the way which have a 2600 mah rating. My friends also love their AW and MNKE for sub ohm. I also use an Efest(1865) 2000mah 10 amp that works great for my higher resistance builds. Whatever your application or needs, don't be scared to spend the extra money on good battreies AND a good charger. GOOD LUCK!

WOW! It's like a different language. I do know what a vision spinner is now. I am going by the old KISS method until I learn enough to be dangerous to my budget. I use a couple of blister pack EVODs from MFS and some FLING disposables so I am sure never to be without a way to vape (as obsessive as I was about having my old cigs). I also picked up a couple of cheap smok BCCs to use when I am trying new liquids. Glad I am here; I learn something everytime I sign in.

Google shows MFS as some sort of investment management company.

For trying out new liquids, a simple cheap dripping atomizer (no tank) is usefull; often called an RDA - Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer. Designed to be recoiled and rewicked by the user on the fly.

It's amazing all the different answers given to one of the most vague questions ever. Best battery? There is no best battery overall. It depends upon the application the battery will be used.

Best eGo class battery?

Best general purpose battery for a regulated mod?

Best battery for a mechanical mod?

Best battery for a sub-ohm coil rebuildable atomizer?

All of the above will have a different answer because there is no ONE battery which best suits all applications. The OP needs to clarify exactly what his application is.
