Best bet for flavor?

What's your favorite setup to showcase flavor?

I'm not so concerned with throat hit or any of the rest. I'm just after a simple, reliable PV setup that tastes great. I'd rather not deal with variable voltages, swapping around different ohm atomizers, or other tinkering.

Is there a single setup that works well for most things? I tend to vape creams, fruits, and candies. RY4 on occasion.

I'm using a eGo-C with a Kanger T3 right now, and I really rather like it. But is there something even better? What do you like?

Try Smok Tech new and improved carto tanks with the locking ring. Amazing flavor, no leaks even upside down, easy to maintain. They work well with all flavors - The cart lasts 10 days - 2 weeks(depends on thickness of juice and flavor), then boil the carts and get a few more days. You will see them on most suppliers sites but if you have little exp make sure and get the lock rings as they will not slide up when in use.
I typically order the 5.5's from my freedom smokes or hoosier.

GL - Vivi Novas are dead to me.:)

Just to taste? Dripping is the best, but not the most appropriate for out and about.

I used to drip back in the day with my old DSE901 setup, before I gave up on that. What's a good modern dripping setup if I decide to give it a go again? I just ordered a whole slew of fluids to try, and dripping seems like a good way to sample them.

Once I've settled on a few favorites is there a more convenient setup with some capacity that comes anywhere near dripping when it comes to flavor?

you can try cartridge set up hold 12 drops and drip on to atty, little bit more portable but keeps the flavor.

For dripping I use an LR306 atty with a Cannon drip tip. I was looking for something small to try flavors that I wasn't ready to commit a whole carto tank to and have been quite impressed with the Phoenix bottom coil carto/clearo hybrid and the Vision Nano - more so than I ever was with CE4s or novas.

Wow! Thanks for the great info Idaholandho! Let me make sure I understand. I hope you don't mind a few questions.

Is this the improved Smok Tech carto you mentioned?
SmokTech 6.0ml U-DCT - New & Improved DCT - MyFreedomSmokes.com

That looks like it'll even fit on my eGo-C battery! Does it come with the lock ring you mentioned?

When you say the cart lasts about 2 weeks, what happens then? Does it stop working? Taste bad? When you boil them, do you boil the whole thing, or just part?

(If there's a FAQ somewhere I should be reading, I'd love to know about it! I looked, I really did. But I fear I might have missed it. So much lovely information!)

I never got the hang of direct dripping. Probably am missing out, but I can't be bothered with the ritual.

My preference for a juice delivery device is a single coil cartomizer (Ikenvapes Platinum or 510 Fusions) in a pyrex cartotank.

I'm just getting my feet wet in using a rebuildable atty tank, which may surpass the cartotank, but it's not "there" yet.

For a little inexpensive carto tank, I just got a couple of these that I like so far: 510 SCT-V2 3.5ml Tank It is slim and flush with my eGo.

When your juice starts to taste "off" or a little burnt, it's time to throw the carto away and put in a new one.

ETA: On the Vapor Phoenix site he has a video about the tank and shows it an on eGo.

Thanks Jadesrayne. What sort of cartridge / atty would be best for my eGo-C battery? Does it matter, or can I just get any sort? There seem to be so many available now...

I second what Baditude said, but I like ss boge cartos sr, I have my first rba coming tomorrow a z atty pro
and will getting my feet wet for the first time with one.:vapor:

I've read rumors that the Ikenvape carto line is actually made by the Boge factory, to Ikenvape's specifications. When PBusardo reviewed the Fusions, he couldn't get over how similar they were to his favorite Boge carto; even dissecting both of them side by side to see there innards.

I only tried a few Boges last summer, but that was right at the beginning of Boge Gate, so probably not a fair comparison.

It will def work with your C battery. Just buy a few of the 1.5 ohm (low resistance) single puch carts that they offer they also have a guide to size.
No, they wont stop working unless you dry hit them when there is no juice. They will just start tasting different as well as a harder pull. I just take them out and rinse them in hot water than bring to a boil on the stove and than let them cool in the pan. I have found cheaper carts on other sites but now have been buying in bulk. I have never had a bad Smok Tech cart. There will be a debate on Boge vs anyone but, I prefer the cotton in these as it seems to wick better and be more consistant.
There is little doubt that when using a tank for the first time you will at some point flood it or run it dry. Once you get the hang of it you will be impressed. I use them mostly on the go as the Genesis style I have learned to love at home relaxing.
There is a video on Vapor Kings website on how to use and fill these tanks, please watch it!. He does it with a smaller locking tank but the function and filling process is the same. The U DCT carts on Vapor Kings are awesome as well.
