Deep sub-ohm resistance can be dangerous, so... safety comes first and foremost. Keeping that in mind, I'd like to ask a few questions... to see what might best serve your needs. :)

What is your current build with 24 gauge - what is it that is unsatisfactory about it - what PG/VG juice do you have - what size are the air holes on the Patriot - and last but not least, what batteries do you have on hand and in what PV?

i currently have a micro coil about .2ohm~.3ohm i used a multimeter its working fine buy im not satisfy with the flavor i can still taste it but not as much as i want to. 60/40 VG/PG and 1/8 airholes and im using a sony vtc4 2100mAH and a nemesis brass (clone)

I really can't see much wrong with what you have, other than the 60VG/40PG juice. That ratio, and I'm speaking in very general terms here, would be pretty good for vapor but not so good for flavor.

You do say "coil"... implying 1 coil. (might be a typo)
As single 24 gauge coils and even duals in the 0.2Ω range can run pretty warm, sometimes too warm - you might want to try building 2 compressed, 9/8 wrap coils on a 2.5mm mandrel (probably larger than what you're doing now).
You'll end up with a net resistance of 0.6Ω+/-... more wick in the coil, and a bit cooler vape, where some juices shine. Just an experiment... juice and juice flavor can be such a subjective variable.

Perhaps you might want to post in the e-liquids forum asking for high VG content juices with excellent flavor. It's going to be subjective of course, but I'm thinking you either need to find a high VG with better flavor, or go with a higher PG and live with a bit less vapor. Good luck.

You may have missed my last post... as we posted at the same time. ;-)
lol yes i did thanks for the help and ..
yeah im running a dual coil 6 wraps on a 1/64 drill bit and the vape isnt that warm its just right for me and i figured that my pg was pretty low to get the flavor i want might get a 60/40 or 50/50 blend thanks man .

Bro you might want to bring your ohms up a bit if your flavor is muted, running a build under 0.4ohm and trying to get better flavor your shooting yourself in the foot. And more vg is probably not going to help either.

I definitely recommend twisted wire but not 24ga. If you have smaller wire 28max, twist it. What are you using for wick.?

yeah i was mostly looking for more vapor before and now i think im wasting my money on juice not tasting the flavor. i use a natural cotton from walmart

I run the twisted 28ga 4 wrap around a little screwdriver, one's that come from China, ohm out between 0.5 0hm n 0.7 ohm, with most juices your going to get good flavor in that range and still have max vapor, IMHO that's the sweet spot for most juices. That's with cotton. Lower than that your sacrificing flavor for vapor.

If your holes are on the large side your also stepping away from flavor and more towards vapor production, one of the best things I have found is reducing the volume / space inside under the cap. I use a reducer, it's a very noticeable difference.

Here is a pulse genny with a reducer, not with a single 0.5 0hm twisted 28 ga coil it's better flavor than my kraken, steam turbine, some AGA'S and any other gennys around.

6 wraps. .073" ID. Twisted 28G.
.5ohm

It's more like 6.5 wraps. I bring my legs to the center point of the coil, then straighten them. Like this. --0

The don't come off like this. __0

I dumped the silica right away for cotton. I just wanted to try it.

I now have two twisted 32G coils running in kayfuns. Which is what prompted me to try twisting the 28G. It is simply better. No idea why. Don't care. It is.

I run boiled / baked cotton in everything.

Careful careful with the twisted. It will drop the resistance on you a lot if you're building the same coil you're used to. Add more wraps!

Absolutely agree about opening up the coil too. Get more saturated wick in there. Unless you're bedding around the coil with your wick.

You say micro coil, do you mean a real micro coil , ie 1.5mm ID or less or just a contact coil ?

Because a micro coil at those watts will give a very harsh and unflavorful vape, you want something way bigger, so the wick can be wide enough to be able to feed the coil at low ohms.

Learned that the hard way a few weeks ago after losing my 1.5mm drillbit, taking something smaller /and/ lowering my ohms. Figured out after a whie that the middle of the coil was getting red with a damp wick because the wick couldn't keep up. I ended up with idk, maybe a 2.5mm coil and it is wayyyyyy better.
