New vaper who just bought a Kgo and using Stardusts and love them, but I sort of want to try out the Boge since they seem to be the most popular cartomizers and are cheaper considering you can get 15 of them for around $20 at Crystal Clear vaping compared to $5 a piece for the Stardust. I notice there are lovers and haters of the Stardust for some of the same complaints I had initially. They sometime have a tight draw and burn and lost flavor, but then I saw a video that stated you vape with them horizontally so the wicks stay wet and all my problems disappeared. Tastes like dripping!!! Could the people that don't like the Stardust vaping with them vertical?

Anyway do people notice a loss of taste with Boge LR cartomizers frequently? My vape bill is running up considerably experimenting with juices :( and I'll put off trying them if it's popularly accepted that some taste will be lost.

BTW: Love ECBlend! I'm creating my own juices mostly messing with cinnamon. Making Swisher Sweet cigarillo experiments and etc in "create your own juice" and I decided to always order "extra flavor" since I'll purchase a flavorless same nic strength and pg/vg ratio that I can dilute an overpowered juice to my taste :)

The stardusts suffer from the same problem all CE2 based clearos suffer from. As far as taste goes, there is no contest. Any CE2 tastes better than the Boge. The problem is the wicking issues. The Boge is idiot-proof and reliable, but it definitely mutes the taste. The clearos taste far better WHEN they're hitting right.

I've recently switched to Fluxomizers. They're WAY better than the Stardusts and the only time you need to tip them horizontally at all is when they get down to about 1/4 full. Even then, you don't need to do it all the time. Best of all, they don't leak at all, not a bit, never, even totally upside down for 5 minutes at a time or more. I can vape in bed, lying on my back without getting a mouthful of juice. Also, they use a plastic that, so far, is impervious to cracking with cinnamon or acidic juices.

Boges work well, but you can sure taste the filler. I like the vision clearomizers(rebranded by some place as the stardust) better because I can crank up the voltage with out burning anything. Also, they can be disassembled and cleaned very well, you can even rebuild them with new wicks and coils if you are so inclined. Only one I've ever thrown away was because I dropped it and broke the plastic, but I've been told some vendor is selling replacement tubes now. Now, if I was treating them as disposable, they might be a little pricey compared to Boges.

Try both and try them from different vendors. There is sometimes different batches. I bought some boge lr recently that are outstanding. I started out on smoktech stainless steel cartos @ 2ohm & 1.7ohm and also the xxxl clear 1.5 dual coils. Just keep in mind that the dual coils will be a shorter vape time between battery charges. I've found that when a juice flavor is getting bland, I'll switch it over to a dual coil and get more flavor.

The Stardust look nice and last me a long time, though I prefer a less tight draw.

There is a contest, you are the judge.

careful, cinnamon and citrus flavor can sometimes crack the clear tanks.

I'm using a phoenix 2.4-2.6 on my kgo right, great flavor and no worry about cracking tubes. Wanted more of them but they're sold out so ordered fluxomizers 2.4-2.6 and I expect they will perform equally for me.

Where did you find 2.4-2.6 Fluxos? I'm looking at my box and it only shows 2.6 to 3.0 as options. I got mine at Gotvapes. They're supposed to be the newest redesigned ones that just came out. Maybe that's the difference???

I just ordered them tonight (mother's day discount;)) Gotvapes has them

Well then, that would be the new "Deluxe" or "Supreme" or whatever they're calling it, Fluxomizers. The 2.4-2.6 should work good on a eGo type battery. I'm using the 2.8-3.0ohm on a Lavatube so I didn't look for LR ones. It just isn't listed on the box as an option.

The new version with the longer wicks are the way to go. The wick faster and the flavor is a lot better. As for boge, my favorite brand. To compare the 2, I would take boge over the stardusts because I chainvape. The visions and chainvaping don't go hand in hand. I have to remind myself to go slower when using one or I get dry hits.
