Howdy all! I'm posting to see what everyones best experiences with cartomizers are. I use V2s KR808-D1 and have tried everything from fluxomizers, clearmoizers, the vortex, and regular 808-D1 blanks. None of them really struck home for me, all have some issue or what not, and strangely the regular old polyfill blanks are the most reliable, but incomparable vapor and taste next to the liquid suspended ones.

SO at this point I'm getting really frustrated not having that perfect cartomizer, which I'm sure doesn't exist at this point. Though I am reallyyyyy hoping that the CE3 is going to be that 'perfect' ejuice holder. Anyone estimate when this will be available for the US? Prob not.
At any rate, I"m willing to try out anything at this point to hold me over...even polyfill..with an adapter of any kind...I just want to be able to fill it up easily, and vape it for a while without some terrible mishap occurring, or poor performance to boot. I've heard good things about some 510 cartomizers and such but have had no experience with them, but can anyone recommend a reliable cartomizer, polyfill or not to hold me over until the CE3? I've got about 1 left out of 10 vortex thats lasted about 10 minutes so far and seems to be working...we'll see how long that lasts.

As a personal review, the Vortex WOULD be damn near perfect IF...it didn't leak, didn't taste burnt on a fully charged batt, and was a little more sturdier, preferably stainless steel with a window to check juice level, and kicked bit a more vapor and taste...but then I guess thats basically the CE3?

Is anyone else just dying to check out this new CE3?

Cheers

Thanks six. Those igo carts are basically a polyfill cart that hold a ton? Or is there something special about them?

I wonder if the IKV gold v2 would be compatiable with a KR808 w/ 510 adapter? The way they make it sound, "We have remodeled the bottom 510 adapter to deliever a smooth draw that cannot be compared", could be that its a little different from a 510 adapter making me think it would fit well

I'm not too sure about the igo carts. I think they are a bottom coil set up, but I haven't checked them out too close yet. There are a few threads about them on the forum, so the search box will be more helpful than I can be on those.

The dual coils are different than other cartos. They are a polyfill carto, but they have two heating coils instead of one and the filler is a different material. They hold about 2ml... The impressive thing about them is not just having 2 coils (total resistance coming in around 1.6 ohms) but they don't burn. I've been running them at 6.0v and can't burn them even while trying to. You'll never get that bad burned carto taste from one of the dual coils.

Will do a search on the igo, and a google search didn't bring up compatibility with KR8, but I saw someone said the KR8 don't have enough power to make the most of the dual coil cartos. And while I'm still confused on the the whole ohms thing, if 1.6 wont burn on 3.7-4.2volts, and works on a KR8, this is something I would order like, RIGHT now :) thx again for input!!!

ive tried the 510 cartos in different brands including boge, both is reg. voltage and LR. i have to say that they arent as good as the bloog maxx fusion cartomizers. the heating element on the BMF does not touch the filler in the cartomizer, thus eliminating the chance of it ever tasting burnt. you can refill these suckers almost 20 times and even then, its not because it tastes burnt but because vapor and flavor is starting to diminish. if you do repeated "dryburns" with the BMF carto, and disect the carto, filler is nice and white still. after trying different cartos, its a no-brainer for me. they also make an adapter (808 to 510) which allows you to use these cartos on a riva-ego. oh and these are horizontal coils. winning! duh.

I was looking at those bloog maxx fusion cartomizers and they are sold out on their website! All the good stuff seems to be sold out it seems haha. Well I guess I will just keep using these 3.0 ohm blanks from litecigusa...they're good but i don't know, i feel like there HAS to be something a lot better for about the same price.

Those iGo cartomizers look really cool, holding so much juice and all, I just can't find one review on them anywhere. Anyone have any info on them? I'm assuming they're there can't be anything different about them other than the volume of juice they hold, but the mouth pieces they come with look exquisite

Wow, Woman, those are actually in stock too! I was about to order from stuff from IKV yesterday but almost everything was out of stock and I wanted to try a couple of things. I'm going to order some tonight so its really down to those XL LR from IKV or those iGo cartos from nhaler.

I noticed the iGO cartos only say they are for 808...they will fit the 808-D1, yeah?

just make sure you have a battery that can take it. not advised to use with the ago/riva 650/750 batts due to the battery structure...

Yeah...I was reading on Madvapes it works with 3.7v MODS of over 2 amps....kind of pushing it for a 280/380mah 808 lol. I really wish I had a 2 amp PV >.< sounds nice

Electronic Cigarette Cartomizers doesnt look like they are out of stock.

Sweet I may have to get from there but I'm going to look for a different vendor, those guys shipping hurts. Should be no more than $3 for cartos lol

There is no ohm rating for these things, I'm assuming its the perfect setting since they are for 3.7v?

Do these taste burnt on a charged battery? over 3.7 to 4.2?

You can, for less then just about anything else out there.

Can't beat that for a true 3.7 or 6v mod with cheap batteries. Should sell these as starter kits for everyone.

That looks really cool. Is there any like building involved? Soldering etc.

What happens, you charge those 2 batterys in that case and the big tube thing inserts 808 cartos? That looks badass, is that a good kit? Ooh boy, might have to buy this.

It has a seperate atomizer and only 901/510/801 cartridges are available?
