I'm going to get some new atomizers and cartomizers for my ego this paycheck, and I'm wondering what to get.

I hear good things about the ego-t and LR 306's, but also some bad. Ego-t sounds like it would be perfect for me, i love dripping but it's a bit inconvenient, but I saw some posts awhile back about a lot of burnt tastes.]madvapes says not to use LR with your ego, but it seems like a lot of people do it anyways. Is that just a safety precaution, or does it cause battery failure?

Also was looking at the fluxomizers, those a pretty cool lookin' anyone know when they're coming back in stock?

Going below 2.0 ohms with regular attys and cartos can be a problem for ego batteries. Every now and then, I read that someone killed their battery using a 1.7 ohm atty or similar. That said, I've recently used a 1.6 ohm carto on one of my eGo batteries without killing it... but I am convinced that continual use would be a risk to the mofsets.

The ego-t attys: Quite a number of people have had various complaints about them including "muted" flavor, leaks, and wicking problems. I use my eGo-t every day and have had no such problems. I like it and it does very well with my sweet flavors. I'm less fond of it with my tobacco flavors because it delivers a fairly cool vapor (lots of it but at a lower temperature once it reaches my mouth than many other devices).

My favorite thing to put on my eGo batteries now is a MAP tank. Availability is a problem with those. Only one vendor (COV) carries them and they are hand made by one fellow. So, they are available when they are available and they sell out fast. Also, I don't consider the MAP to be altogether portable. It tends to leak when laid on its side for a long time, so it isn't really pocket-friendly. But, if you want "cool lookin' ", the MAP is just the thing.

You might consider a couple of eGo mega attys. I like the 2.5ml cyllinder megas. Some of the cartridges need to be blue foamed (some carts don't come with enough filler in them so they tend to flood the atty), but the megas produce a ton of vapor at a nice temperature. Also, the megas have been reliable and low maintenance for me. I blow them out now and then and they keep working just fine with little to no maintenance or cleaning (I have hot water soaked a couple of them once or twice).

You'll need one larger than a 510 and Vicky has those too 3 bucks isn't too bad. You might look around for some of the cooler looking tips that some of the more specialty vendors are selling. Some of them are pyrex and some are twisted glass with colors spun in... etc etc. If it works good, that's great. If it works good and also looks cool, now that's perfect.

Those pyrex tips are cool as hell, probably cools down the vape a lot though

also what's the ohms on those megas? standard 2.5? Curious, how exactly does making them bigger improve anything? Sorry for all the questions maybe I should have stuck this in the newb forum haha

Mine run about 2.4 ohms. Whats different is the surface area of the heating element. The coil is pretty big and they have a big ball of mesh around it. More surface area should = more vapor. And, in this case, it does. - The drawback is that the attys hold a lot of juice, so they are more wasteful than a standard size when you have to blow them out. They are also sort of juice hogs compared to a standard 510 or really most other things. They make a lot of vapor and they use a lot of juice to do it.

There is a lot of information on this forum about the megas.
