The Vamo Vivi comes with a Vivi Nova clearomizer. It's a top coil clearomizer with wicks. It is a warm vape.

You can try the Kanger Bottom Coil Clearomizers, such as the Protank (Glass, can withstand citrus and licorice) Evod of MT3s, which are all bottom coil.

Then there are the Stardusts, and Carto tanks. Lots of choices.

Test out the Vivi Nova that comes with your Vamo kit, and go from there.

Thanks for the help!! So I am new to this (I've been using an Ego 900 with iClear 16 clearomizer) so sorry if this should be obvious but! What is meant my warm vape? Is that what I have with my ego? What is the difference with the top vrs the bottom coil?
Any experience with using iClear 16 with the vamo? What about with these cracking with certain juices?
Also it appears that ordering this via fasttech.com there are no tanks with it?
Thanks again!

If you want a crack/melt/frost proof clearo type I'd get a Protank or when they come out maybe a Protank mini. The only bad thing I've heard is that some have had the base 510 threaded part break off in the battery. I have two of them and have not had that problem but i have big APV's and they screw down flush on them so there is little chance of them snapping if I drop them. They are glass however and will break of you drop them from high enough on a hard surface. I'm sold on them. The EVOD is good but it has a PC plastic in it so it will melt or crack if you put a caustic juice in it.

i'm rocking T2's and MT3's on mine. Crazy vape and tons of flavor, but they look a little odd on the massive vamo. Tried the vivi novas from fasttech but they are of poor quality and the ohms ratings are way off what they state on the coils. (2.4 label came in at 5.1!)

I've heard pros and cons to the protanks, but i still wouldn't mind trying one. I have an iclear30 in the mail right now that I'll let you know how it vapes.

Also picked up a smoktech pyrex dct but I find its vapor production to be weak. the flavor is entirely different than what i've experienced on the wick based clearos using the same juice. I find it to be very muted. I wouldn't worry too much about your juice cracking the clearos unless your using spicy or citrusy juices.

What kind of clearos are you accustomed to?

Never hurts to have back ups.

I got my Protank a few weeks ago, and I'm still on my original coils. I had bought 2 protanks, so in one I have the 2.2-2.4, and the other I use the 1.8 just to test the differences with my MVP. Just rinse them out between different juices and all has been well. I did buy an additional 5 pack, so I'm set for a few months at least.

Of course, your mileage may vary.

I love the Protank... or did for the first day, before the bottom cap lost the threading. I have yet to find a way to replace the bottom cap outside of buying it with a Tatroe Tank, but either way... great vape!

I've used Vivi Novas (Vision and SmokTech), EVODs, SmokTech Carto Tanks, Drunker Tank and more on my VAMO with equally satisfying results. Resistance ranges from 1.5 ohm Dual Coils to 2.8 ohm with both replacement heads and coils I have rebuilt myself for the vivis and the VAMO does great with very little adjustment if you are using variable power. I plan to rebuild coils for my kanger bccs as well but haven't had the need to yet.
