hey i'll watch this thread. i ordered my lemo rta yesterday from eciggity!my first rebuildable so i have a lot to learn.
i still need a suitable mod for my lemo, what are you planning on using? only one i have is a vemo v5 which only goes up to 15 watts so i'll be upgrading as soon as i have money. i assume i can build a 1+ohm coil though and enjoy my vamo v5 with the lemo in the mean time

anyway reason i posted was here's a thread with a nice pictorial and plenty of discussion

My fav on the lemo is a 26awg single coil. 3mm diameter with 7-8 wraps.

"Best" is a relative term as everyone's preference on quality/flavor/warmth/vapor production varies. My personal favorite build so far (out of the 10 or so times I've rebuilt it looking for something better for me) is currently a dual coil 24ga 7 wraps on a 3/32 screw driver sitting at 0.33ohm, wicked with cellucotton and being powered at ~4.8v on my homemade raptor 20A box (roughly 70w for reference).

Then again, that's just how I like it.

well i've been going with 28 gauge 4/5 wraps on 3/32 bit standard build. gives me a .7 ohm. i probably would like 26 guage a bit better, but i don't have any right now. all n all im really happy with it. it is my first build. and with my 100% an&o juice i never get dry hits like i did with the stock coil. flavor is great. i'm vaping at 25w on a sigelei 100w

i really need to work on trapping my leads. lol

im looking for great coil build for the lemo. im not looking to sub ohm too much, as i don't want to through liquid hella fast. but i do want to get a full dense tasty vape.

ive done this build twice now the second time with a bigger diameter, I used 24g and the first build did 12 wraps around 1/8 size bit(I'm 70% sure of that size but it's irrelevant) and it came out to about 1.0-1.1 ohms and did a vertical coil with it with cotton filling the whole chamber around it, That build did not work out to well, I did not account for the lack of space i was taking away for air movement compared to a horizontal coil, but stuck it out for a tank of juice and after I did the same type build except made it 9/64th diameter which is close if not the same size of the air hole on the deck and hoped it would allow some more air flow which it did, this build was 24g w/ 8 wraps at .8 ohms and im going threw just about 5ml in a day with my box set to 30-45 watts, sometimes ill go 55-60watts to get a real hot vape, the build still restrict air flow a little bit not as much as the one before, and I'd consider it more of a flavor build then cloud build, and also remember I do not vape as much during the day as i do at night, i've cut back ridiculously on vaping while im at work and i didnt even notice, but someone who vapes a lil harder would def suck threw some juice, I've yet to see how this wick is really performing, from vaping it i think it's doing a real good job, but im curious to see how dry it will be threw out when i get done with this tank of juice cause ill be rebuilding it tonight

This is the first build after it was removed, i didn't take any pictures of the second but it would almost lik identical just a lil wider

2nd build - seeing how she did before the first fill

2nd build - after flashing it, it looked to be wicking ok so hopefully it kept up the good work, lol

just did this build. (my second build ever)
2.5-3mm ID.(don't know what size rod i used. lol) 28 guage Kanthal 1.2 ohm build. i still have a little trouble trapping the lead, so it off sets the spacing in coil a bit.

KeepItSimpleStupid that vertical chimney build looks awesome.
how the heck do get the wire to go into the post holes so clean? mine are always bowing out.

@KeepItSimpleStupid
i put them on opposite sides. never thought about putting them on side. Probable because I saw the stock coil using opposite sides. thats smart putting them on the same side. i bet it make it alot easier.

@bungalow
5mls in a hr.your puff hard man. im the same as KeepItSimpleStupid. 5ml a day.

In the evening I go really hard. I chain vape big time

I got a Lemo recently and ive been building a standard coil with it that comes out to about .9 Ohms.I wish i could tell you what Gauge my kanthal is for it but it is whatever kanthal came with my Lemo which doesnt tell me. Whenever i build in it with my 24g Kanthal it comes out at about .6 ohms. If you watch Rip Trippers video for the Lemo coil build his standard coil is what i have in mine, gives me great flavor and vapor. Haven't really built many other coils in it yet but once my bottle of juice is done steeping in the next few days ill be trying out a macro coil in it with 24g, will probably end up around .5 to .6 ohms but no idea how it will perform. Provided i remember ill post my results here.

26g zipper twisted wire .58ohms, I thought this build would be above and beyond all the others cause of how good the zipper wire performs, could be better in a horizontal coil, idk, we'll see, but it's still performing amazing but flavor is a little less then the chimney i did before but it produces a hotter zape with better clouds
