How long have you been building and what have you used in the past?
What would you like to improve or minimize in your next build?
What is your budget?
Where are you located?
What wick material are you using?
Have you considered MESH?
Do you have any physical limitations that require accommodation?
Do you have a vape shop in your town?
Do you prefer single or dual coil devices?
What is the target resistance and wattage you prefer?

My best and your best and @stols001 's best may be worlds apart.

We would like to help you narrow down your search so the advice given is useful and applicable for you and the way you vape, why you vape and how you vape.

Are you asking about drop-in coils or premade coils for a rebuildable atomizer? Because the best drop-in coil is Uwell Crown 0.5 ohm dual SS but if you don’t have the Crown tank it’s not gonna do you any good. The best premade coil for a rebuildable is a twisted 26 gauge SS 316L and 28 gauge SS 316L with a twist pitch at 0.75mm and 6 wraps with 3mm I.D.
I’m not sure if my twisted coil is better than a standard single strand coil but since it took me more time to make it I feel like it vapes better. So there may be some personal prejudice behind my answers but they are my favorites. Until I hit my Profile again, then I say coils suck, mesh is where it’s at. Anyway you get the idea, good luck to you and I hope learning my best coils at this very moment was helpful to you.

There is no best, only preferred.

I currently prefer a pair of fused claptons with 26-28ga x 2-4 strands wrapped in 40ga. on most devices. Number of wraps depends on the Ω's I'm shooting for.

My favorite non drop in coils are the ones that don't read "no atomizer" after I install then. I am sort of kidding about this, but only sort of.
