Best e-Cig For Use as a Prop?

I've read through a lot of the different forums here, and it looks like there's a lot of options to consider.

I'm primarily looking for an ecig that will be used exclusively as a prop; I was going to buy 5-6 of them, as it's for a group thing. The eCigs probably won't get used more than a few times a week.

Obviously, good/thick/voluminous vapopr is desired along with a nice red cherry. Everything else is really secondary... even cost.

Any thoughts?

I don't know if convenience stores are selling them in your area, but my first PV was a Xhale from 7-11. $20, looks a lot like an analog, good amount of vapor, orange/red led. Not a great battery life, but if it's just a prop then that's probably not a huge issue. SmokeTip and Lecig have ecigs that look like analogs too, but they're more expensive.

If you want something that looks like a cigarette, roughly the same size/shape, and used very lightly, I'd go with a KR808D-1 using automatic batteries, though perhaps a 510 would be fine too.
The KR808D-1 is a 2 piece unit, the battery and a cartomizer, a piece that looks like a cigarette filter. The cartomizer screws onto the battery and you just puff away.
For lots of vapor go for a juice that has a lot of vegetable glycerin (VG) in it.
If you don't actually smoke, you can get the liquid with zero nicotine, and you can get the juice in various flavors, for instance you could get banana flavored no nicotine prefilled cartomizers.
If you want to end up with 5 or 6 batteries, and a couple of chargers, you could do something like pick up 3 KR808D-1 starter kits with automatic batteries from vaporsetc. Each of those kits has two batteries, one 5 pack of cartomizers and some (perhaps 15 ml?) liquid that you put in the cartomizer. About $37 per kit, you specify which liquid flavor and strength with each kit. There's a coupon code with them I believe -- you could probably just ask and they will tell you.

You can get a pack of 5 cartomizers (choose faux-filter color) for $8.95 here:

https://store.vapor4life.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=PVK-Blanks

On the V4L short auto battery ($16.45) they look just like the real thing. You may have to call to ask about a red LCD tip.

This doesn't give you e-vapor or a recharger, but they are available on the site too. Depends on your budget.

Be sure to enter 'smilin' for your coupon code and get 10% off.

It's a shame to get one as a prop since they're one of the best super-mini's out there, but Revolver sells one that is not only white, but striped like a traditional cig, so it look very convincing. They also have great vapor production for a super mini.

A KR808 would also be a good option, since many of them are designed to look like a cig, and have the right proportions. (and being oversized can be good for a prop)

I would not touch a 510 with a 510 foot pole if you want a prop. I have never seen a 510 that even resembled a cig, even the white ones. The proportions are just all wrong.

Hello, one more time... I keep finding something better than I last posted, but I don't think I can top this:

!$5.00.! A white disposable with red LED, all juiced up and ready to go for just $5.00! The cartomizer/filter is white but if you want the orange faux-filter look, that's what spray paint is for. I would ask how old they are and what the return policy is in case any are DOA. The link:

As for e-juice to fill it with, buy USP Vegetable Glycerin from the first aid isle at Wal-Mart (Humco brand) and cut it with a little distilled water. Plain VG is too thick to use by itself. For flavoring if needed, add some LorAnns found at any place that sells professional type cake decorating supplies. When buying cartridges/cartomizers get blanks and the above mixture put into them will give you tons of vapor.
