i tried to return the ecigs to my local smoke shop...was told no...so I'm stuck with 1 rechargeable electronic cig and 2 carts...oh well..maybe ill take up this style of vaping lol

Instead of going to a local smoke shop, I would go to a local vape shop, show them what you have already, and see if they can help you. I've seen guys doing all sorts of things with their gear. Just google vape shops in (your area). I did for a few areas around where you are located, and it showed a few to pick from. Good luck :)

Most cigalikes let in the air through a tiny hole in the side, that could be the problem with the Greensmoke.

Watch some youtube vids on wrapping coils, might give you some ideas. Its very simple and you could make your own device easily if without worries of how to hold it, etc. like an actual e-cig.

It might be more ideal to, instead of the usual coil around a wick, have a tiny metal "oven" which heats in advance and then squirt fluid into it. This would not work so well for e-cigs because it would produce a set amount of vapor, rather than being controlled by how much you inhale.

Here is a photo of the working inside...figured you guys should see exactly what I'm talking about and why i am doing what I'm doing...the trick is also as follows...you borrow a shoe from a spectator, place it into this crazy looking box...the box has LED's on the other side, sirens, horns, all kinds of crazy stuff going on. There is a reset button on the side which turns off the air pump for 1 second, which resets the ecig...its pretty good honestly...just want more smoke, or a way to recharge the cig and refill the cartridge

From a Craft perspective you have a good bit of room to wire up something. If you have to hit a button to fire up the air flow you could use the same switch to fire a small battery (18350) and RDA setup. How's your skills at small electronics? With a batter holder from Radio Shack and a mech mod replacement top piece you could set up a mini fog machine in there. As far as your fuel, e-juice is almost the same as fog juice, in terms of basic ingredients, just no need to make it thin. If the air pump already pulses the controller could be used to pulse fire an RDA and give you a good bit of fog. I suppose it all depends on your building skills.

If you want more fog from the current setup, my first thoughts are a 2 part system (yes like the Blu) that you could recharge the battery on and take apart the cart and replace the innards with new cotton and pure glycerin. Most rechargeable systems like this do come with 2 batteries, so setting up 2 cig-a-likes in there is very much an option.

From my perspective the big restraints are size and activation methods. If you can wrap your head around those you can and will improve your prop.

Anyone know if a "hot" coil on an RDA could ignite flash paper? Not saying I would go this route, but you have me thinking about 2 of my hobbies now. May as well put out my credentials here: I'm just an enthusiast when it comes to stage magic, I'm no where near pro, but I hope to be able to rock my daughter's 8th birthday party (this gives me 4 more years to practice). I know enough to get me in trouble and really appreciate things like Penn and Teller's Fool Us.

Good luck on making this work exactly how you want it to. If you ever get a video of a performance I would be thrilled to see it. Cheers!!

It goes red-hot, so I'm guessing yes. In things in the past where I wanted to be able to press a button and have things ignite/shoot out, I used a model rocket launcher, which is basically a switch with two leads joined together by a compound that ignites. FYI, it's easier than you'd think to make homemade rocket launcher for your car, but super hard to get them to go straight. And make sure if you have these set into smoke bombs in the trunk that the trunk is sealed from the rest of the car.

Really complicating the guy's build though -- it's too bad nothing comes to mind that isn't disposable that doesn't have the hole in the side. I do remember awhile ago someone showing how to unwrap a blu into it's battery & cartomizer parts, and you could then recharge the battery with a 9v or something that was jury-rigged. Might well be possible to find those tutorials, tear one down, recharge & refill cartomizer with more VG than PG. Or remove the polyfill from the cartomizer and stuff with flash paper so that when the air goes & the coil goes hot it ignites.

If I want to make my own fog juice using VG...what should be my ingredients? Just straight VG? Or should there be something else in there?

Today was cool...I took off the rubber tip off the mouth piece end...blasted smoke instead of the small hole letting out a little bit. I have three plans I want to do with this now...

    1. Split the line to make it have two ecigs
    2. Find a rechargable that works like this disposable. The green smoke didn't work...
    3. Make my own "ejuice" fog liquid and refill the cartridge mysef!

The current ecig in there is a hangsen disposable

With the hangsen, I can blow backwards into the "lit" end...the green smoke would let me blow backwards. Does anyone here know or own ones where it would blow smoke if blown the opposite direction?

I assume the device is activated by a toggle switch somewhere, and nothing complicated like a contact on the lid or anything? Is the entire unit powered off the same battery (if so, what is it)?

A cheap RDA, mounted to a 510 connector for easy wiring, with it's own 18650 fired off a relay from the power supply to the airpump, and the drip tip hooked up to the air pump output, would give you gallons of fog in short order. I'm thinking like a Veritas RDA with a 1.5ohm coil inside. About 45 seconds would fill that box off pure VG. You have a ton of room to work with in there, and most of the things could just be mounted with hook & loop. Could probably do it for less than $40 in parts. Only tricky bit would be trying to explain it over an internet forum if youre not familiar with rebuildable vaping or electronics wiring.

For the vaping end of things, if it does not anger the Mods, I would direct you to Flavr Vapor Lounge in Lancaster. They'll be more helpful than a smoke shop.

You just need VG, check out the DIY forum and you'll see the type you'll want to pick up at your favorite pharmacy. You might find you'll want to slightly thin it with distilled water, but maybe not. I already gave you the basics of refilling a catridge, but youtube will get you the rest of the way. Good luck, I'm sure we'll be interested in seeing how it works out.

So i am still in trial with this project...I bought a rechargeable blu version....didnt work to my liking...my next trial is going to be a Fin brand...other guys that have bought this prop got Fin brand disposable and were very happy with the results...im going to try the fin brand Rechargeable...does anyone own any Fin Rechargeable cigs? if you do, can you PM me?
