I started off with a volt from smokeless image and although it was very simple to use it just didn't do it for me, I then bought a kgo which I am very satisfied with. I started off with cartomizers but it wasn't until I started dripping on a LR 510 atomizer that I was able to quit smoking. So that's all I use now and have been smoke free for over a month. I got my kgo kit at sweet-vapes and it comes with a case. Good luck!

I'll also weigh in and suggest a kgo. The kit from Elite vaporworks comes with boge cartomizers and fluid. The volt suggested is also good if you want an "808" which is sized more like a "traditiona cig". The kgo sets you up for growth more if you expand you array of PVs as many of us do.

If you want something "cig sized" but also a "510" (same thread as the kgo and many others) you could get an SD keyring kit. Much smaller, but a bit more futureproof and automatic so very friendly for a new user.

Somewhere out there
Most newcomers start with slim style KR 808's (Volt and Halo G6 are good choices) less battery life, have to charge more often.
Upgrade to eGo style batteries- new types are VV ego and Twist ego, both good choices. You can use cartos, clearos or tanks on these, about size of a cigar. Better battery life, charge less often.
Next upgrade is to some type of VV mod, box or tube looking. Top of line Darwin or Provari. Size will be more like a flashlight or box sized. Battery life is usually better depends on size of batteries used. Most are replaceable batteries.

Now just decide what you want :) Have fun!!

Volt from Smokeless Image

808 batteries, no fuss
prefilled cartomizers with some pretty good flavors for a company that focuses on the gear
lots of accessories at reasonable prices
lots of starter kits to choose from - most recommended would be the Standard Starter kit with two batteries, usb charger and wall adapter.
pcc's (personal charging cases) that work. The mega V2 may look flimsy, but it works very well.
the X2 step up battery for power and size (and three of those to choose from too), 808 threaded so you don't have to start over with all new gear
plenty of bling - several battery colors to choose from, colored end pieces, diamond tips or stealth tips, battery wraps, carry cases
cartomizers and clearomizers which will work with all of their batteries, regular and X2, with new tank cartomizers on the way - always trying to improve based on customer feedback
best price for the new vaper, until they feel ready to move away into more fancy surroundings (but I'm still vaping Volt, X2 and regular batteries)
for the "mini" or "cigarette" style battery, Volt would seem to have the best distance between charges, approx 2 to 3 hours, depending upon personal vaping habits
great community
Hands down, the BEST customer service you will ever find
