Hey guys,
I've tried many juices and feel that some flavours for some reason are more better than others on the Penelope (could just be my taste buds or the way I make the Penelope)

I haven't tried any tobacco flavours with the Penelope yet & wanted advice from anyone which ones are good, what they like...

Also would PG be better in a Penelope than VG because most of my juices are VG, I tried a PG80%-VG20% and for some reason their was more flavour with the Penelope

Are all liquids suppose to be the same or do some out do others

For a tobacco liquid I like Natural Perique from GoodeJuice in my Penelope. I have had problems with some Dark colored NET tobaccos. They seem to gunk up my Penelope pretty quickly. This may just be the way I make my wick and coils but I just have better luck with lighter colored liquids. For a light colored tobacco that doesn't cause problems I like BWB's Casablanca a bunch. I also like Ahlusion's House Blend in the Pen. I have not tried any liquid over 50% VG but my Penelope handles that percentage well. You just have to open the juice control more than you do for high PG liquids.

Supa I've been vaping PG today and yes you're right the flavour is intense but so is the throat hit....

I got El Torro's Eden 11 & Cigarrillos today, going to steep them for a few days and give them a try.
Apparently lots of people say that it's good for the tobacco taste as they use real tobacco & it's 50%pg - 50%vg.

Hopefully it'll taste good with the Penelope :D

I'm getting the same thing... Lots of gunk & come to think of it, my juices are also dark coloured but they're not tobacco flavoured, more fruity and dessert flavours

There's many many experienced people here do hopefully they'll she'd some light :)

steeping to me ( and this is just my opinion ) is a myth , I find it very easy to notice changes in taste of a particular e-liquid coming from just about anything eg after dinner I find tobaccos harsh , in the evening when im tired they settle down . cleansing the pallett with a glass of water isn't enough especial if I have been trying different juices ( some tastes can play bad off each other) and then there's phycosamatics ( perceptive influence ) . all these things can have a influence to people taste which makes me think that steeping might be the wrong answer .
again , this is just my opinion but I do think taste isn't ( at least with complex stuff ) static

I agree with you that at different times of the day, flavors can taste very different...but, steeping is NOT a myth. I've been DIYing my juice for about a year now and the flavors most definitely change over time, especially tobacco flavors (i.e. my fav DK TAB).

To the OP - the best juice for Penelope is whatever you like best! :) Pure VG nicquid can cause wicking issues, but for me it's been working just fine with 90pg/10vg all the way to 10pg/90vg. That's the genuis behinds Imeo's juice control design at work. ;)

I sometimes loose the taste of the flavour, it's like nothings there but the taste of steam and the Penelope gets very hot.

After I've left it for a good 10-15mins it's ok again

Would that be because I'm vaping a lot or am I doing something wrong
you could be drying out the coil , give it a half turn and see what happens

If I vape one flavor for a long time, I lose the taste for it. But, if I switch to something else for a day or two, then go back to the first flavor, the flavor is there. I think our taste buds just get accustomed to a flavor over a period of time.

Yeti I totally agree with you...

I just had my friend help me make a wire using two 3.5mm wicks :) and put in COV's butterscotch flavour (I think it's 100% VG)

WOW is what I've got to say....
serious amounts of smoke

I just hope it lasts me a while now
