What in your guys opinion is the best ecig tank? I heard the EVOD and T3 Mini are good. What has worked good for you guys? I'm speaking mostly regarding vapor production.

I don't know if there is a best, but for new vapers I recommend looking for a miniprotank2 (v2) to get started.

Maybe pick up some spare glass tubes for it too in case one breaks.

If you start with an evod, it uses the same replacement heads at the miniprotank and it uses the eGo thread also, but it's plastic with a metal protective jacket. There's lots of plastic tanks out there and for the long haul you want to be using glass/pyrex.

Recent innovation is clearo tanks is the airflow control; there is the aerotank and the nautilus; they use the small 510 cigalike sized threading though to screw onto the battery. Most tanks use the 510 thread nowadays. The two that you mentioned: the evod and the t3, use the eGo thread.

The two other extremes are:
1: cartotank systems - which use disposable cartos (a carto is a standard type of replacement atomizer coil head - basically resembles the filter on a cigarette)
2: rebuildables like the kayfun - you buy a roll of 30 gauge kanthal wire are wrap your own coils and wick it with cotton.

I've had a Kayfun lite plus for a couple of weeks now just because of all the hype and I'm disappointed.

Not in the Kayfun but in me, I should have bought a couple more and I didn't.

If your not into rebuilding I have to say the Evod is a very good vape if you want to try your hand at rebuilding before investing a lot of money get an Igo-L.

Btw there's supposed to be a glass evod but I don't know if it completely dissassembles like the miniprotank2 (v2).

If you buy a few of the miniprotank2v2's then you got enough parts to swap around pieces in the long run.

The good thing about the evod though is the protective metal jacket.

On the other hand I recently realised I could rig up with a piece of pvc tube sliced down lengthwise to protect glass tanks. Maybe cut a few partial slits for windows to see the liquid level inside conveniently.

For clearomizer tanks the Nautilus by aspire seems to be king of the hill right now but if the vape press is to believed the new Kanger Aero Mega and Minis will reclaim the crown.

save for the glass tank I actually liked the Evod better than protanks.

ultimately I am sick of dealing cartridge atomizer systems and switched to Kayfuns a while ago and could not be happier. There is no match to the clearomizers out there.

Some people are intimidated by rebuilding but Kayfuns are relatively easy to build and set up (YouTube it).

I use a microcoil with cotton wick. Every tank or two I just swap the wick and I ready to roll again. No more praying that the drunken monkeys that make coils for Kanger didnt screw up every head in the 5 pack you just bought.

I just picked up some Evod glass tanks. Compared to the original Evod, they are a little larger, come with dual coils instead of the single, have a removable metal drip tip (same as Mini PT2, I believe), and, of course, have a glass tank. The coil is the same as those used in the Protank 3, the Mini PT3, and the Aerotank. While I was able to use T3S/MT3S coil in my Mini PT3, I was unable to replicate this with the Evod Glass, as the base is raised and changes the profile of the coil's chimney. If you want to use a single coil in the Evod Glass, I have heard that one can use the base of a Mini PT2 and an Evod single coil (I have not tested this yet, as I do not have a Mini PT2 base).

I personally think the Nautilus pretty much sucks, but that's just me; it changes the taste of my fave ejuice something awful. Just got it last week, tried it for a few hours, but I'm going to sell it fairly cheap pretty soon if anyone is interested. I'll be posting it in the classifieds area, once I finish getting it all cleaned up so it's just like new again.

My own favorite is the T3S/MT3S -- cheap ($5.99 at DiscountVapers), cheap coils ($5.96 for a 5pk at DiscountVapers), excellent flavor and vapor. Coils can be replaced or rebuilt. Excellent tanks; I really wish there was a glass version of this tank, because the Protanks just can't touch it for flavor.
