Best Electronic Cig and E Juice?

I started vaping about six months ago. I started off vaping with the Blu e cig, but I kept having problems with the batteries not lasting long enough. In two months I had to buy three starter kits. I love the taste of the Blu's, especially the pina colida and the peach snhaps. About two months ago, I bought an electronic cig from Le Cig, it's called the pig cig. The first two days with my new e cig were great, but then I have had problems ever since. In the past two months- I have had to spend over $250.00 replacing batteries, battery chargers, and I have to replace my cartomizer ever other day. I am not even a heavy vapor, I might smoke around 1 ml per day. I keep having problems with the products that I buy from this company. I will buy a new cartomizer and sometimes 30 mins after leaving the store- it clogs up or leaks everywhere. I would take them back, but the store does not allow this. I also have tried the Le Cig flavors and it leaves a dry, nasty aftertaste in my mouth- no matter what flavor I try (very similar to the N JOY e cig aftertaste). I recently bought some e juice from Johnson Creek. I bought a few different flavors, but Vanda is my favorite. I don't care for the taste of the other ones that I have tried (Island and Margno) These two are not as full flavored as I would like them to be and they don't produce much vapor. It seems that the Johnson Creek juice burns my wick even faster than the other juice. So now my wick only lasts half a day instead of a full day. I first want to know- what is the best e cig juice- as far a fruity flavor, good vapor production, and good throat hit? Secondly, I know that any day my e cig is just going to quit working, (and I refuse to buy anything else from Le Cig when it does). What are some of the best quality e cigs available? I enjoy vaping, but my luck has kind of sucked so far. It's frustrating to come home after working 12 hours and all I want to do is vape, but not being able to because my e cig is broke, once again.

I recommend just ditching the entire "cigalike" format and go either with an eGo battery system or get an advanced personal vaporizer (APV) that uses replaceable, rechargeable batteries.

Ego batteries will give you longer time between charges (6 - 13 hours) with each battery than the cigalikes you've used. These batteries have a life expectancy of 250 - 300 charges, then they can be considered more or less disposable. Cost per battery run $18 - $25. You'll need an eGo charger and some juice delivery devices. Always have two batteries, one for a backup and one to use while the other is charging.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...06-4-good-starters-setup-beginning-vapor.html

An APV, or "mod" as we call them, is essentially a battery holder in tube form. The replaceable batteries work like a flashlight's batteries. Just replace the battery (easy to carry spares) and not the entire battery device. These replaceable batteries are more economical in the long run, with an expected lifetime of over one year. I have some that are 16 months old and still working. Battery capacity varies according to their size: some last 6 hours and the larger size can last over a day. Cost per battery runs $6 - $10. The mod, or battery holder, will run anywhere from $16 up to $200 depending upon features. Battery chargers run around $20.

Example of an ego battery - eGo Spinner (with variable voltage) with a Kanger Protank cartomizer.

Example of a "mod" or APV - Provari (with variable voltage, atomizer ohm meter and battery meter built-in)
____

There's a wide variety of "toppers" or juice delivery devices that you can use on an eGo or APV; each provide a slightly different vaping experience: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...k-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html

______

As far as e-juice goes, the sky is the limit. There are literally hundreds of e-liquid vendors, with thousands of flavors available. Flavors are very subjective. What you like I won't; what I like you won't. Best thing to do is to find vendors which offer sampler packs to try their flavors. That way you won't waste money on large bottles of juice that you may not like. Once you find a winner or two in the samplers, order more in a larger size.

Virgin Vapors offers sampler packs - http://www.virginvapor.com/collections/organic-e-liquid

AltSmoke has one of the largest juice lineups from 3 independent e-liquid suppliers - http://altsmoke.com/altliquid.html

I would say a tube mod would be your best bet. Sometging like a provari or vamo. Or siglei. You need something with replaceable batteries. I personally went with provari. Steel design with an awesome customer service. I was stupid one day and dropped it in the jacuzzi. Talked to provape. And am in the process of sending it in now. Really quick and painless warranty program. My provari never gave me a single probpem before that. So just remember whatever you do get have a backup lol. Something can always happen.

sent from my Provari with a mini rda!

Sorry to hear about your rough start. Unfortunately, none of the questions you asked have a definite answer; all of it is up to personal opinion and individual tastes.

I would recommend visiting Taste Your Juice dot com (sorry, the link I posted was censored) and browsing the site for a while. Specifically check out the Hardware Recommendations link on the left side of the page. If any of the devices on that site sound interesting go to the search box on top of the page and type the name in. If PBusardo (the gentleman who runs that site) has done a video review on a piece of hardware or an eliquid you will be able to play his video right there.

There are many other reviewers, and everyone has different opinions on what works best, but that should get you started. If I were going to recommend something I would suggest concentrating on an eGo type battery and a clearomizer of some sort.

There are also links to eliquid reviews on that site and all over these forums. I would watch and read some reviews and if the flavors you hear described sound like something you would enjoy try ordering some sample bottles from whatever vendor sells it. Most places will sell you a small bottle of their flavors to try for a few bucks, and it's a great way to sample a bunch of different juices.

Finally, if you have a brick and mortar vape shop in your area definitely stop in and talk to the employees there. Most places will let you try any of their eliquids at no cost and they can recommend some hardware for you as well.

Good luck.

Agree, go with Bad's suggestions and, try some of the vendors here and, others too. My picks are Apollo, Lucky's Vapor Store, Mom and Pop and, Mt. Baker. ECBlends and Halo have a couple I really like too.

As for dislike E-cig and E-LIQ.com, same comany one in China, the other in the USA and, same juice flavorings that all taste like a chemical taste test, not what they are supposed to be. Cheap but that's about all I can say good about that stuff.

Just wanted to say thank you for everyone who responded to my post. Your information was very helpful. I really liked the taste my juice site. It helped me to understand vaping a little bit better. I went to virgin vapors and ordered some caramel:) e juice- I am very exciting about trying it. I saw that the virgin vapor e juice has gotten a lot of great reviews. I really, really like the provari and how you can adjust the voltage on it. It looks like a pretty awesome e cig. I think that it's a little out of my price range for now. But I saw a ego starter kit that looked pretty nice- with in my budget. It had two batteries in the starter kit, so I would always have a back up!. I am excited about all of this new information, thanks guys and gals!

I am partial to the Itaste vv 3 for starting out. It got me off cigs and it's just the right size to take around wherever I go. The best part, it's square and won't roll off the table. It also provides the option of VV/VW, which allows you to learn the basics before going to a more advanced PV. I just recently bought a Zmax V5. It was an impulsive buy, but I love it and use it for the night time when I am at home. I think my bosses at work would faint if they saw me carrying it around at work. They just don't understand the vaping pleasures of life. :) Thanks to this board, I have learned so much and still learning. Good luck in whatever decision you make. Enjoy, and don't take it all too seriously, just have fun with it. At first I was going crazy not knowing what to buy, etc. Finally I relaxed and experimented and bought what was good for me and not worried what was popular. Don't get caught up in that. It can be very easy to do and very expensive. Take the suggestion and talk to the people at the B&M's if you have some around you. The people love to talk to newbies and help us out. It gives them a chance to show off their expertise and they will usually be honest and tell you what products are good and which ones to stay away from, especially when it comes to tanks, etc. Good Luck and I hope you love vaping as much as I do.

I started out with an Evic and quickly upgraded to a mechanical mod. I dropped my evic and it snapped in two pieces. However, I spent $30 on a mechanical clone and have dropped it a few times and no real damage done. Plus using a dripper you get more a hit and can tastes more flavor than with a tank, imho. One of my favorite juices is Apple Jax by Epic. It tastes exactly as its named.

Hi Morgan,

personally I started with EGO batteries and CE4/CE4+ atomizers. I got sick of swapping batteries 3 times a day and went for an APV. I have not looked back since :2cool: I started out with Smoktechs SID mod and had a blast using it. I then stumbled upon the Innokin Itaste SVD. This is my favorite so far and I can highly recommend it! The build quality is superior and the price is ridiculous low (at fasttech.com). I use it with Kanger Protank 2 and 18650 or 18350 batteries.

If you go for a VW mod you can use the following chart to set the correct volt or wattage for the coils resistance :vapor:

Regarding juice I mostly buy LiQua apple 18mg. It has a very light apple taste which is not too sweet. For an allday vape this is my favorite :2c:

Best regards

With the parts being fairly cheap off FT or locally online or retailer, you should try a selection of clearomisers and tanks as I found CE* type clearomisers tended to get that burny taste after a couple weeks and really are seen as closest to disposables.

For an all round APV that has lots of features you can't go wrong with the Vamo, I wished I had bought one instead of my LavaTube but then again, the resistance show and tell features on both give you a very good ball park figure to set your voltage to for the best outputs and drop or raise it a touch for that final spot on moment.

My experience with CE*'s and variable voltage devices is the cheap ones really don't like it and once you have scorched that wick, you won't get rid of that taste, my Evod's are quite happy at 4.2v and they are only a few pennies dearer than the CE*'s usually and its a breeze to fill them or change the core and cleaning 'em is easy too :)

It really is a case of finding the right bits that work right for you, on all my other battery devices the RG500 I have is horrible but on the Lavatube its just really good, the dual coil tank I am using on the e-pipe tastes yuk on the LT but just right on the pipe mech mod :S
