I'm sure there's a thread about this somewhere so don't flame me for not using search, I just wanted the msot up to date answer I could get as I know that more and more eCigs are coming onto the market.

I'm looking for the most noob-friendly ecig in terms of use, carts, charge, etc. I was going to go with Blu Cigs until I found out about the 3 week backorder and them still not having any in, but I loved the usb charger concept and the PPC that charged the battery up to 6 times! I don't care if that's an exageration it still kicks ... xD.

If you need me to be more specific I will, I just don't have the bank atm to experiment with several diff kinds and would rather get one I know I can depend on until I get more money.

If you like the PCC and the USB charger, then I'm thinking the 510 model would be a good choice for you. You can read some of the threads about that model. I have the Dura-C, which is Janty's branded 510 model, and you can buy a PCC and the USB charger, both of which are way cool. Best part about the PCC, though, is it is itself rechargeable so it's not disposable.

I'm using the NJOY NPRO which is an RN4081. 3 months vaping so far. Blew out only 1 atomizer. Lots of vapor, and a good throat hit.
If you needed one right away, they're sold at Pilot, T/A and Petro Truck stops, Kangaroo, and a few others. A bit more expensive at the truck stops, but you have it in your hand, and can start right away.
Only my personal opinion, but I love it.

I will throw out a second for the 510 with manual batteries.

Janty's DuraC has a lower profile button that a standard 510 manual batter so they fit into the Pocket Charging Case without any modifications but the 510 manual batteries have a higher button and will require the PCC to be modified.

This is a video that explains how to modify the charging case to fit the manual batteries.

Be aware, if you order a Dura C from Janty you will probably have to wait a while before you get it. They are hoping to be able to ship them on june 4th but it will probably be longer than that.

If you get a standard 510 with manual batteries then you will get a LED on the end of the battery and that is something that is missing from the Dura C.

I agree, my Npro is still going strong after 2 months. Bought mine at a Pilot, it is a nice safety net to know for now I can get refills in a pinch. But, every 2 to 3 weeks I get vaporizer envy and get a new one. It started with the Ncig pen-style, after that I bought a DSE801, soon it was an EM901. Today, I received my DSE 701 cigar from Lite Cig.
My point is that you will never find the perfect e-cig. Every model has its flaws, and performs differant for every person. Also, every e-cig will fail at some point, even the most expensive.
I would start with a penstyle(DSE801/Kissbox/Ncig), It is the Ford Tauras of the e-smoking world. It may not be stylish, but it performs day in and day out.

I'm trying to get one by Mon morning June 1st so I'm trying to come up with a choice tonight or early tomorrow so I can get my order in and hopefully get it by Sat May 30th. It won't be the biggest deal if I don't get it by then considering I have yet to have the joy of trying an eCig, but it would definitely be a nice thing to have for my travel.

I took a look at most of the ones suggested so far and here are my impressions.

I am considering the 510 because a couple people suggested it and I can't find too much wrong with it aside from price and that the ppc and usb chargers are sold seperate.

The NJOY NPRO I looked into as well, as it would be great to just go to a truck stop and pick it up, but the prices on those look pretty steep as well, and I don't really like that they look like cigs either (correct me if I'm wrong but I only saw white and brown) as I would like to avoid accidental confrontation.

I looked heavily into the Vapor King. I really love the idea of my first having disposable carts, as it seems much easier than refilling every half hour or so. It also seems to get a nice battery life and it comes with a usb charger for a fair price at vapor4life. I'm highly considering this one if the shipping can get here in time. If not I'll give myself some more time to review the others and make sure this is the right choice, but from how many of you talk, it seems like there will never be the perfet eCig for me so I'll probably end up buying multiple anyways.

The Dura C goes hand in hand with the 510 in that it's rather pricey with all it's addons sold seperate. I'm not throwing this one out either, just some minor issues.

I looked at the Kissbox as well as some other pen-style, and I'd rather go with the mini for personal reasons (don't really want to draw that much attention to myself, and the prices are often much higher with addons sold seperate)

I really appreciate everyone who commented so far and hope for more. I'm hoping to see some repeats of some so I can get a better idea of what the majority thinks is best.

Also let me know what you guys think of the Vapor King, the one I'm most considering. I've only seen 1 person mention this one so I'm a little concerned.

RN4081/Npro is a definitely a recommended kit for a starter, who are more conscious about how it looks. Good amount of warm vapor, good taste, good throat hit and all. Easy to drip, so that you can keep your smoking session routine, etc etc.

Even though Npro's high price is one of the reason that it's not the most recommended (but they really don't need recommendation, as a lot of people find out about e-cigs through SE or Njoy to begin with) - but to their credits, it's a great introduction piece, and for some, even a greater main e-cig.

I had good experience with it, and even though I'm an SD user, I kinda wish I kept my pass-through and batteries for 4081 for my back-up.

Aight looks like I won't be getting an e Cig before I go on my trip =( I was going to order a Vapor King out of impulse (grabbed my pee pee and everything) But they were sold outa black, so I said F#&@ it and decided I would just wait.

Please please keep giving me suggestions of which to buy though, as I will probably be placing my order Sat night so it will be close to arriving by the time I'm back Friday the next week.

Also is it really true that you can buy the NPRO in truck stops, and if so, is it only truck stops or are there other stores that carry this? Just wondering, it would definitely be something to look into for the near or distant future ;)

One more thing, sorry for the double post, but Mr. not 15 posts here can't edit his post. Ah well, one step closer to being able to I suppose.

I just wanted to say how great the community here is. I never knew there was such a great group of people into vaping, hell, I hardly knew it existed until a few days ago. I really appreciate all the help so far and will for sure be an active member here long after I get my e Cig =)

Hi and welcome,
I am a newbie.. ordered last week from vaporguys.com and he sells janty dura c's.. (510) arrived a couple of days ago. I love it, and really no issues as of yet. Crossing my fingers no issues.. so let me find some wood to knock on .... LOL

I say go for that, only because I dont have anything to compare it to but, I can say.. I wasnt trying to quit analogs.. just have only had 4 in total of two days since I started vaping. Dont vape much either.. probably about 5-7 hits, drags, sucks, inhales.. whatever you choose to call it, about 6 times a day. It works, theirs vapor so I feel like I am still using an analog, manual switch easy to hold down and inhale, looks good, fits nicely in my pocket, and so far it seems like the batteries all last at different amounts of time.. its alright, I take about 4 batteries with me everywhere I go.. LOL, cant wait for my ppc to get here, or is it called pcc?,

I say first time.. you cant go wront with the janty c, I am very pleased
huggles

901 and 510 are all good choices. Both with ups and downs... 901=little bit cheaper in parts and wide availability, but not the best performer out there... and 510 with being generally regarded as a better performer, but only a handful vendors do carry them.

Either one of them, you really can't go wrong with. Start out by buying a starter kit from your choice of vendors... then if you do like it, stock up the extra batteries, atomizers etc. Either way, it will be cheaper than getting an Npro.

My first starter kit was the 901 from Katy at the smokelessshop. You can scroll down the vendor forums to find her site. She has a great starter kit esp. when it comes to batteries.

Never tried the Janty's so I can just speak about the 901's but I found that great. With any of the E-cigs you get you'll soon find that battery life will be a problem more so than atomizers or juice.

If you like the E-cig you get you may want to also get a USB Passthrough which will solve the battery life or a ScrewDriver from Trogg.

Hope this helps
