I am new to vaping (two weeks in and two weeks without analogs). I picked up a lavatube and currently I have it and two 7mL tanks from Volcanoecigs.com. I love it so far, but thought I would ask some of those out there are the carto tanks the best? I currently go through a 7mL tank in about three days. One of the things I've found out is once I get a flavor I don't use it much after three days if that. So this big tank (which doesn't actually hold 7mL) is a little much maybe.? Are the RBA's better? The carto's I use are single coil 3ohm. Just looking for the best bet for what and how I use my APV. All help is appreciated.

Carto tanks are what I prefer so far. I don't really know what you mean by:

'One of the things I've found out is once I get a flavor I don't use it much after three days if that.'

Rebuildable tank atomizers are animals unto themselves, with a significant learning curve. Unless you do a bit of research and are pretty mechanically inclined I would suggest you stay away from them for a little while longer before trying them. 3 ohm cartos with a LT are great. I have 2 LT's and use them with carto tanks. Love them. Really great flavor and overall performance, but I had to stick with em for a bit to get there.

Welcome to ECF and keep asking questions!

No problem cridgway81! A lot of people experience what you are describing, me included. That's why I have a few PV's going at once with different flavors in them and I alternate between them regularly. Taste buds seem to get 'tired' after a while and stop giving us the flavor hit we got originally from a juice. Switching back and forth between flavors helps me.

Hope this helps.

I have several of the 2ml pyrex cartotanks made by IBTanked. Each one has a different flavor. I just change tanks for a different flavor throughout the day. IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us!

The pyrex tanks are preferred because glass never imparts any "plastic taste" to the juice, and is immune to cracking or melting like the polycarbonate tubed tanks. The glass is quite durable, too. These are custom made to order. Choose the diameter of tank that you want first: 19mm slim or 25mm wide. Then choose the length: standard for 35mm cartomizers or XL for 45mm cartos. Then choose either stainless steel endcaps or acrylic (19mm size only). Entire tanks begin at under $20 each. Pre-punched cartomizers and drip tips are available also.

I did a full review of these here, including pics: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tank-reviews/349222-ibtanked-pyrex-glass-tanks.html
