So im kinda stuck here, my kts+ have more than served its time with the scratches to prove it, so now in looking at some mech mods at FT and of course they all look nice and the price is good enough that i feel like going nuts and get a bunch... But... What mech mod from FT do you guys consider the best when considering build quality and performance?

Im thinking either
SS Magneto
SS Chi-you
SS Nemesis
Bagua

But what would you get and why?

i would say none of the above. i have the FT nemesis, and while its a good one, i feel the K100 or 101 that FT sells is much better. if only for the bulletproof fact alone. these things can take a giant beating, and still look and function perfectly. drop one of the nicer looking mods, and its gonna get dinged up. i also have on of the privateV2 and astro clones from FT. out of those, i would go with the private SS model/ the astro is really only good for a dripping atty as is, but you can add a 510 or ego adapter to make it more functional (no air channels in the cap)...as far as i am concerned, the K100 and 101 are about as idiotproof as a mech can get. they ALWAYS work, fit any battery you can throw at it, and accept a kick with zero hassles. the nicer looking, multi pieced mechs FT sells, can be a bit finicky IMO. but, in the end, buy what you like. i just happen to love the K100 clones a lot...:vapor:

Nemesis. It has a screw adjust for the positive pin, not a floating positive pin which is better IMHO, and the posts are silver plated as well. It has afc that doesn't stick out past the 22mm diameter like the chi or Bagua clones. It comes with tubes for every size battery to use with or without the Kick if you so desire. It's not a telescope, which can feel loose/wobbly at times. I'm pretty sure it's the smallest of the 3 in 18350 mode. Also, to me, it looks the best out of all the other choices. I have the ss now and a brass on the way and they get the most action of my collection.

I just got a load of 4.04 with a Caliber RDA at 1.4 ohms. As for the Nemesis clone. My Son threw his across the room. That little piece of metal rice keeps slipping out that groove. The Nemesis clone is cheesy junk !

I'd have to say the astro is very under rated, and it's not just dripping attys it's good for. Any genny style RBA like RSST, or any kayfun style RBA will work, as they have their own air holes on the side of the atty.
But the private v2 is definitely one of the best, I agree with that. Depends if people like the telescopic style that screws up/down so doesn't have a smooth profile...

I've got a brass King clone on order, and a stainless nemesis too.
I've been thinking about the new $27 chi you clone in stainless as well, but waiting to see if I actually get anything from previous orders first.

I ordered the silver pin Chi-You clone. The firing switch seems to look better than the Nemesis firing switch.

The new one? sku 1508701 ?

Only reason I got a nemesis on order is apparently it is the only one that can fit a 18650 and a kick. Besides that, I don't care much for it, which is why I got the private v2, the astro, and the brass king first.

Yeah man, the new one. It looks like you'll be set with the other three coming :)

I have the M16 clone. Looks good and fires good, but threading could be a lot better. The 510 connector threading is bad. I have 2 replacement connection caps sitting in Hong Kong waiting to board a plane. I'm hoping the threading on at least one of them will be better. Other than the top cap it's been a great mech, and for the price I recommend it. Also recommend ordering an extra cap, as they are aluminum an will wear easily. Cap was like 6 bucks... Will update on the new cap quality when I finally get them.
