just curious, not trying to offend - just that looking at the chuck, it just isn't anywhere near as elegant as some other high-voltage devices out there.
The Chuck (or Little Chuck) can be as elegant as you want...

Seriously, just click on the pictures below to REALLY see these.
And then realize that they look so much better in person.

What do the Chucks feel like? Is the picture painted onto it?

The Picture is a Sticker usually applied ontop of the paint but below the clear coat...although i'm not sure if he's doing clear coat onto of all of them yet or just a select few...mine has the clear coat above the sticker, but has since rubbed away around the edges of my sticker

He can do it pretty much any way at this point.

Some of the pictures are full wraps where you really don't see much paint except the endcaps. And then he does a clear coat over that. Some of the pictures are more like stickers, which he puts on top of the paint, and then clear coats over that. Some of them use an illusion top coat so it has speckles and changes colors at different angles.

And I have heard that sometimes he DOES paint the design on.
Not sure when or where that comes into play.

And then he does something with some of them that I am not clear on yet, but I think I heard something about stenciling. Basically it looks like silver or gold leaf and I can't tell if it is under or over the paint.

But I'm pretty sure no matter what he does he always has a clear coat over it.

There's the rub. I like a HV 510 because it allows me to take as short if not shorter a draw than what I used to from an analog, and end up with tons of vapor (more than a cig smoke). I hate taking 8-10 second, slow draws just to get the same amount of vapor. With HV I can take a 2-3 second draw and it's already almost too much...

That makes perfect sense, good response, thank you..

As for the Chuck, I must admit those designs look magnificent.. really nice..

Nuck.. my Wii can outvape the lot !... hmmm, maybe I should rephrase that ?

The Wii kicks out waaaay more vapor than the PS3 using the same batteries!

You must be using the wrong juice in your PS3! ;)

I like a MGS4 for an all day vape.

Looking forward to trying U(ncharted)2.

NGS is a nice change-up once in a while, but it's a little intense.

And of course there's the old stand-by, GTA4.

no, when i said elegant i meant form factor, not the paint job.

i think i would like the chuck if it didnt have that button, maybe a button similar to the SB or AdapteveR or Super T1. i have to say that the SuperT1 is one of the most elegant designs i've ever seen, now take any other HV device and give it the ability of a sticker job, how many of you would change your mind about the chuck? not trying to convert, just throwing ideas around.

MGS4 is a fantastic all day vape. been enjoying Uncharted2 vape lately, but what's taken over has been COD:MW2 vape... hahahaha comming back to Uncharted2 today... Tekken and LBP arent too bad of a pallet cleansing vape =P

i thinq this may be taking it a bit too far...

The problem here, if I am not mistaken and I'm pretty sure I'm not, is that the Chuck is quite a bit slimmer than most models and it can not possibly handle a button like you speak of without looking like crap.

So basically, unless I am mistaken, all of the buttons people wish was on the Chuck would be way too wide and hang well over the curved edges and look pretty bad.

I was wary about the button on the Chuck because my 901 manual batteries and passthru's left dents in my fingertips.

The Chuck requires very light pressure, less than my new Xhaler, where the button is too big for the battery tube diameter..

I definitely would be interested in the SB, but I have no idea about the lead time. JeffakaMax quotes two weeks from payment to shipment and generally meets that commitment. He was 1 or 2 days late once when his brass supplier set the wrong product and he's changed suppliers.

Mine's the first blue Celtic Chuck in the pictures posted here...it's beautiful, smooth and solid. Silver leaf type graphics, thickly clearcoated, smooth end to end and over the edges...The pictures do NOT do these mods justice, especially the illusion clearcoat, which mine is, changes colors from blue/purple to hunter green, charcoal to amber flecked, silver flecked navy!!

I've only vaped at 6V (with 510 atty) due to batt availability at the moment and am blown away by the quality vape taste, throat hit and dense clouds of vapor..makes it so hard to use my 510 stock batt when I have to be discreet at the office...

I'm a beginning PV gadget junkie but I'm hardpressed to see ordering another type mod when I'm so happy with this one...also Jeff appears to be a perfectionist and stays in touch with all his anxious customers providing pics along the way... I'm really impressed with his attention to detail and aim to please his customers!!

I admit that I have a Super-T1 and an AdapteveR. Both are not on your list of deivces (this is to the OP). Wither one would be the last device you would ever neede to own. I have left reviews on both devices here on ECFif you are so motivted to searc them out.

Yeah, I went with the four I had narrowed my choices down to. Best HV device probably wasn't the best title for the thread.

The more I look at the Super-T1 the more I like it. Probably one of the best looking HV devices I've seen. Not sure if I could get use to a bottom switch though.

I was a hardcore side switch person when doing DIY devices, but decided to go with the Super T1 for the form, function, safety features and overall design. The whole bottom button thing took less than an hour to adapt to. I recently received my AdapteveR, also a bottom button device, and am totally thrilled with it. Do no discount a bottom button device as they are super easy to operate.
