Hello again ECF,

I've been debating whether to purchase a Janty eGo or not. I've heard really good reviews for this PV. I currently have the JOYE 510 which is very very satisfying. I was wondering what the best combinations would be if I purchased the Janty eGo. What other accessories are a MUST if I purchase one? Just e-liquid and like 5 cartomizers? I've never used a cartomizer so I'm not sure how long a 5 pack SHOULD last me. When I smoked, it was about a pack a day... Also, if I purchase this eGo, I want to give the JOYE 510 to my mom in the effort to spread the word about ecigs and help her to quit smoking like I have. I've been tobacco free since 10/17/10!!!

Thanks!

I think that the eGo is great! I'm not a big fan of carto's right now. I've been using a LR 306 on my 900mah (XL) eGo batteries and I really like it. The 306 has the same threading as the 510, so you don't need an adapter. One thing to keep in mind is that the 306 is really only good for dripping or some kind of juice fed pv.

There are some pictures in this thread if you want to check it out.

I'm still trying to learn this foreign language, haha. This doesn't really make sense to me at the moment... If I go on a website and purchase a Janty eGo starter kit, what else would I need to order at the time of purchase? Just cartomizers, right? I have liquid. Does the battery that comes with it suck or something?

Hehe, sorry. No, the battery does not suck. The normal eGo battery is 650mah, so it lasts quite a while. I can't think of anything that you would need to get if you're getting the eGo starter kit. It never hurts to have extra atomizers but since you probably have a few laying around anyway and it comes with two, it's not a must.

I think you'll really enjoy the eGo!

Oh cool, so the JOYE 510 attys work with the eGo then I'm assuming? I JUST purchased some cartomizers for my JOYE 510 because I heard they're better than using a cart/atty combo. Now I guess I need to go buy a syringe to fill them when they're empty. Do you know how long a full cartomizer will generally last?

I say give the cartos a try because you might like them. I'm using Mega carts and cartos with my eGo right now, and personally, I like both. Cartos are funny creatures, though. Sometimes they last through quite a few refills, sometimes they don't and you can't tell beforehand. Once they give out, you throw them away. Most places will only exchange DOA cartos, so if it works great the first time and dies on the second go, oh well. It's the chance you take with them.

510 stuff will all work on the ego. Not all carto's require a syringe to fill not sure which ones you bought but if you pop the end cap off and you can see the soft white filler material you don't need a syringe to fill it. Most of the time you'll get atleast several refills out of a carto, I've got some CE2's I've refilled well over a dozen times already.

The little rubber protectors that the cartomizers come with are reffered to as 'condoms' by many people, you can put several drops of juice into one of them then you stick the atomizer end into it and slowly push it in and it forces the juice inside the cartomizer. Filling from the other side by putting drops in is better IMO less mess.

Sounds messy. ;P No one likes a broken condom.

Not messy after the first time or two, easy as pie.... although just as easy to pop the top and drip in the juice...I use the condom method as I have a little trouble with the cap getting back on with my finger tips being numb <boring story, injury nothing to do with e-cigs>

Hey! I've had an eGo for about a week now and it's pretty awesome. I bought some LR510 atomizers to go with it and they work really well together...I've just barely used the atty's that came with it. I briefly messed with filling the cartridges, but quickly realized that dripping is a better method. - I have a desk job, so carrying around juice isn't really a problem for me.
