I've never seen the Royal blue in person, and their color chart is kinda hard to go by...
But the Prism blue is actually VERY similar in color to a Spectrum tank - and they have good photos! Hope that helps...

That looks real nice with the black beauty ring, They do have the prism colors listed now in options and after seeing yours...lol I may pick one up, not that I need anymore carto tanks (proud hoarder) lol. Been almost 4yrs!! Would you say their prism blue is more Cobalt Blue (darker) than their Royal Blue? Thanks!! Wouldn't mind getting black Delerin caps or black SS...for that setup.but with the darker blue and the little ss that shows from the b ring...Its gotta look real nice.

Thanks for the post and pic...looking nice, I should get some updated pics soon, many, many more I;) have both of my Provari's are still running strong!!

Not to sure yet about the IBtanked, caps look thin with no design (altho I do like the clean look now and then) not really my style, just like the glass colors...we'll see. I have a vast collection of tanks as it is and I will sharing more soon!! Just have to get some time and pics together... :)

I think they look sharp in a minimalist sort of way.
My problem with them is they don't have air channels on the bottom cap.
I'll stick with my KFLs and Kir Fanis, tank you very much ;)

I love Kir Fanis tanks too.
I am using and enjoying a Vaperfexion, and have an Innovape M-Protank on the way - that'll complete my "built-in-ring" collection...lol.

Done buying tanks, unless someone comes out with something irresistible. I might sell a couple off - I rarely use the 19mm ones, and I'm kinda saving up for a REO. Hell, I already bought a bottom-feed cyclone, and what the heck am I gonna do with THAT? LOL.

The IBtanked, you're right, is pretty flat - but it works great with an IBTanked ring - which has 2 airholes punched in it...

did you get the 40mm or 50mm?
I got the 40mm and my regular sized Boge are loose and hang too deep into the beauty-ring area.
That's how far in they need to reach to make contact.

This makes the driptip have to reach way down in to seal with the o rings

Is yours 40 or 50 and does it have the same issue?
The reach isn't as bad as the loose o-rings (inner, sealing to the carto, the glass seal is excellent)
I'll e-mail them and ask if they'll comp me some slightly thicker o-rings.

Hmmm.

I had the opposite problem, and I'm waiting for a replacement - the glass seal, well it wouldn't seal. The bottom cap was just "wobbly" and would have just popped off. Then there was a snafu, and they forgot about me for a week after promising a replacement - so I haven't GOT it to load a carto in! But I only use 40 mm tanks - so when I get it, I'll have to see.

We should be able to expect nice snug o-rings on a $50 tank, even if it's on sale...

I didn't post any kind of complaint - because they SAID they were taking care of it in a good-service kind of way (though it has been delayed twice now). I'll always give a vendor kudos if there's a problem and they fix it - rather than bad press for the problem.

I agree - the reach there looks a little odd, but isn't AS bad as a loose fit would be...

No, its this one.
This just lets you push the carto halfway out, the fat end in your carto, for refilling around the narrower top part.
That punch is to make holes in your cartos. Instead, I'd buy cartos that already HAVE holes in them...

Yes, you should get some cartos - get "standard" or "XL" - whichever length tank tube you pick.
And get them "punched" so you don't need to punch them yourself!!

OH!!!
Here's an option for you!

You can ask - just type it in the NOTES of your order - for the NEW "PRISM COLOR RED".
Just pick any color, so you pay the $5 when ordering, but then tell them in a note you really want the Prism red...

Their regular colors are kind of lightly painted on - you see swirls like brush-strokes. If you LIKE that look, fine - but the new "Prism" is a deeper red, and looks more like it's just red glass, not glass that's got some paint on it...

You can google around and find pictures of the IBTanked paint jobs to decide. But I LOVE my new "PRISM" color glass. It's not on the site yet, but they have it!

Here;s my blue one:

IB-Blue1_zps3f2116b5.jpg

I just got my first IBTanked carto tank. I like it but I am not 100% sold on the longevity of the cartos. Still debating if I wanna order another one. I have four KFL+, 3 of which are v2's. I like them but they are just too damn finicky. I like the hassle free of the carto tank.

About the new prism glass. How many colors are they available in??? I really like that blue one. I wanted to get a colored tank but none of their elections did anything for me. Wonder if they have a smoke.

EDIT:
Just looked and they have the Prism colors listed in the drop down. They just don't have them in the pic.

With cartotanks the standard sized cartos last far longer than the XL cartos, regardless of brand.

I don't know why this is, I only know that it is so, at least in MY experience.

Yep - and there IS a smoke.
Here's the colors - photo's look pretty accurate - gotta be better than the old IBT color chart...

Huh! I'd have NEVER known that!
I only use "standard" anyway - but that's a surprise...
The XLs tend to get hard to pull WAY sooner than standards do. I can fill tank after tank of standard sized but only a few of the XLs before having to change out the carto. I mean a LOT of tank after tanks.

Have you seen others that had the same results??? I have an XL right now running a 60PG/40VG juice and at just half a tank the flavor is already muted.

Don't get me wrong, I've had decent performance from XL length cartos, just not nearly as good as standard sized nearly every time.

And a lot depends on what juices you use. I tend to use lighter ones these days and I dilute those down with a plain mixture of PG/VG at about a 3:1 ratio.

The sweeter and/or darker your juice and/or the more VG, the less performance you'll get from your carto.

I tried the single (2mm) hole XL Boge cartos and they're way too airy to even waste a tank of juice on.
Now I have some double punched XL Boge cartos and they work ok but barely.

The normal sized Boge double punched work great for me.
I think I've run 30-40ml through a couple of them.

Want to buy a metric .... ton of XL cartos and transparent XL tubes for Kir Fanis tanks?
Bummer because I like the idea of a 5ml cartotank but the XLs don't work for me.
