Hello,
I have a question about that Cartimator that has been shown to look so great on a provari. I am thinking seriously of getting a provari mini. I was wondering if anybody knows how that thing vapes ? I mean do the holes that it comes with in the cartomizer work well or are we required to punch more before it vapes well ?

Thank you,
Floyd

I assume you are asking about the Pro-V Cartomator made by Vaporfexion? Pro-V Cartomator SS - Vaperfexion

I have the XL version. It is a fine tank, nothing special about it other than the special milling of the endcaps to look nice on a Provari. The bottom endcap has a wide groove to allow good airflow to the cartomizer while still sitting flush on the Provari. The tank is a little over-priced in my opinion. It unfortunately comes with a polycarbonate tube, which is susceptable to certain juice flavors that could melt or crack the plastic. I was able to find a decent fitting pyrex tube to replace it. I will say that the blue tube is quite dark making seeing your juice level difficult. As much as I have spent on this tank, I have to admit it is not one of my favorite tanks to use.

For the price you pay for a Pro-V, you can buy 3 high quality pyrex tanks from http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tank-reviews/349222-ibtanked-pyrex-glass-tanks.html. I have five of them and just ordered two more this weekend. The 19mm diameter sized tank is perfect for a Provari.

As far as your question about the cartomizer's holes. It all depends upon the juice that you are using; some are thicker than others. Generally speaking, one or two holes are adequate for the majority of juices. If you are new to cartotanking, I would recommend that you at first buy the laser-drilled cartomizers. That would eliminate a likely human error element to your cartotanking experience. Once comfortable with tanks, then get yourself a cartopunch tool and learn to punch your own should you wish to do so.

It's also personal preference, but I would recommend that you try single coil cartomizers instead of dual coil. In my blog entries under my avatar I list several links to vendors that sell single coil pre-punched cartomizers.

If you have further questions, feel free to PM me.

Nice!! Is that a mossy oak skin? I ended up ordering a carbon fiber skin myself..I'll prolly trace the skin so I have the Provari pattern (I have rolls of the 3M di-Noc vinyl) so I can make my own.:)

How is that White Provari holding up.. I have 2 Black ones... I was wondering if the White finish stains from handling?
no stains, but i have dropped it a couple times getting out of the car with too much in my hands. its got some of the coating chipped off. i didn't get black because if i dropped it in my car(black interior) or at night it would be a pita to find, and well they dont make red.

This is my latest all day vape. VPX custom Polished bottom and top cap. I like the short configuration. I am normally using Ming tips but it seems Cherry vape doesn't make a straight black ming that I can find. I brought out this 3 year old tip and I actually like the short config with it.

Keep an eye on Bully custom tips he does some rather amazing work and I am pretty sure you will find some cool stuff to go with your set up.
