best marlboro equivalent?

People are going to give you a lot of answers to this (very frequently asked) question. Don't believe them.
There's no equivalent from what I've experienced and/or heard. I've been vaping tobacco flavors for a while and they're all much sweeter and less burning-tobacco-smelling than any cigarette.
I suggest getting a coffee flavor or something hearty where you won't expect (and won't be disappointed when there's no) real cigarette taste.

You might want to try Marlbreax by Cajun Vapes.
They are new to the market after being very popular with the locals..... everyone loved their juice and begged them to make it available so they did and are now making and selling juice .
They are also long time ECF members and really support our vaping rights, CASAA, etc. I like to support people like this, but they also make great juice!

Yeah, Cajun Vapes Has some pretty decent tobacco flavors if tobacco flavor is what you like, personally I love the sweet milk, but I like the desserty flavors!! laissez les bon temps rouler
Nothing you will get out of a vaporizer is ever going to really taste like burning plant matter. The taste of a cigarette is NOT the taste of the tobacco, and if you dont believe me chew on one for a bit.
That said, what I have found so far that comes closest to the overall sensation of smoking a cigarette is 'Desert Joe' from smokelessimage. It's supposed to be a Camel-like flavour and I wasnt really a Camel smoker but it's got a little extra hit to it that I like. Their more Marlboro-like flavor would be 'Freedom' and I dont mind it either.

What sucks is unless you have a vape shop nearby where you can walk in and try all of their tobacco flavors, you're going to be buying a lot of stuff online ($3 and up per bottle plus shipping) that will more than likely sit on your shelf after the first hit, granted you don't like them.
