I'm still playing with this, but it's the best I've come up with so far. I used 3 drops of FlavourArt whipped cream and 6 drops of Perfumer's Apprentice chocolate in 3ml base (75% PG, 25% VG, 18mg). I need it stronger, but the flavor seems good to me so far. The FA whipped cream has a fruity smell to it, and there seems to be a slight fruity taste to the blend, but I can't tell if that's due to the blend itself or the fact that I've been vaping pear in this atty for days. :D

(Yes, I could have switched atties, but I sent my cigs to work with my husband today as a trial, so I needed a hassle free vape day, and it seems like something weird happens whenever I have to switch atties.)

So, to my fellow chocoholics, I was wondering: What's the best milk chocolate blend you've come up with so far? Has anyone tried cream or milk flavors with chocolate and gotten really good results? Has anyone tried my two flavors together already and discovered the perfect proportions?

I found a good daily vape when I tried pear (which surprised the hell out of me), but I still really want a good milk chocolate. Then maybe I can take care of two addictions with one vape. ;)

if you just made it let it sit for a few days.. many of the things that i mixed with chocolate the taste came out more a day or 2 after i made it..

i havnt needed to make any orders and shipping is to much for ordering 2 bottles.. but i think marshmallow mixed with chocolate base would give it the richer taste of milk chocolate.. it works with real foods..

I agree, Lab, the chocolate gets really strong once it ripens and I learned not to make it very strong to start or it will be way to much in a few days.

I couldn't find any marshmallow either in stock anywhere. Maybe Capella Vanilla Custard??

For the past few days I've been vaping Capella's Pralines & Cream and Double Chocolate and I love it. Still not the Milk Chocolate I'm looking for but it's very good!!

GoodDog, Liberty Flights does have dairy--cream, milk, and milk (condensed)--but they're out of cream right now. They were out of most of the FA that I wanted, so I ordered from Happy Vaper.

Lab, shipping costs would be why I haven't already ordered the marshmallow to try, and I didn't realize that Happy Vaper also sells LorAnn. *sigh*

So far, I haven't noticed any change in taste at all with PA even after several days. OTOH, I've already learned that I shouldn't even try a liquid with FA for at least 12-24 hours. :p The lack of instant gratification with DIY sucks. ;-)

I just ordered from Capella's, and I bought pralines and cream and double chocolate, so I'll try that one, too. And the double chocolate with almonds that someone else mentioned. (I can see the avatar and remember the tag line, but can't remember the username.) I think I'm also going to have to place another order for the milk flavors and the marshmallow from Happy Vaper (I wanted to buy the mixing syringes anyway).

I wasn't overly impressed by the FA chocolate, and I haven't gotten to try the Capella double chocolate yet. But, I do feel like the PA chocolate is dead on and will be perfect if I can just find the right thing to mix with it.

I love good quality chocolate, and it is my displeasure to inform you that you will never vape a truly good chocolate flavor if you are discerning about it. You probably know the most important flavor in vanilla is vanillin, but vaping just vanillin doesn't feel like a true vanilla. Chocolate is even more difficult to extract because it goes through a ton of processing and starts a fatty seed, not a bean. Much of the flavor is in fatty acids, proteins, and fiber which are not vapable. It doesn't have a main chemical like vanillin that produces the flavor, and the notes of quality chocolate would be lost in the heat of vaporizing even if you managed to get them in an e-liquid. I don't know how PA manages to get their chocolate flavor, but it's probably as close as you'll get to a vapable chocolate. :(

As for me, I usually use my beloved LorAnn Cheesecake to make the chocolate creamier.

I'm probably not that discerning, else me .... would be smaller. :D I love the PA chocolate, and I think it will be perfect for me once I find something to add the creamy taste without adding an additional strong flavor to it. With the whipped cream, it's really good, but I think it can be better. But no, I'm not expecting something that could rival biting into the best of chocolates. Still, we work with what we have and make it as good as it can be, yes?

Jo, have you tried the PA Milk Chocolate? I just got it and haven't had a chance to try it. I have both of their chocolates.

The PA milk chocolate and the white chocolate are the only two flavors that I *don't* like from PA so far. Neither smells or tastes like chocolate to me, even in a liquid that I've let "age" a few days. I think others have reported success with mixing them with other flavors, but that wasn't what I was interested in, so I haven't bothered. Still, YMMV. :D So far, the PA chocolate is the only acceptable chocolate that I've found, so maybe I'm just picky.

Does anyone know what the exchange rate is for Canada and what about shipping??

1 USD = 1.01376 CAD

Realistically, so close to equal that it's really not worth the time to look up the conversion. :D On the order that I've just started, it looks like shipping will be about $8. On the bright side, he does carry several different brands of flavorings.

PA has milk chocolate flavor, might be worth checking out.

Have not tried to make a milk chocolate yet but this combo might work:

Capella Double Chocolate
PA Bavarian Creme
Liquid Splenda (milk chocolate is sweet)

Adding some vanilla custard, cheesecake, or marshmallow may be called for also.

I can't use Splenda so I was thinking of adding a couple of drops of Cotton Candy to sweeten it up???

I can't wait to get started. I get so obsessed with organizing everything before I start!! LOL I feel like a kid playing house and even way back then I wanted everything clean and in order before I would play.

Added: VapeHappy already shipped my late night order!! Even got a nice personal email thanking me for the order! That is a fun site to shop and shop and shop!!

... which by the way is Ethyl Maltol diluted in PG, at a ratio of 1/4tsp per 10ml PG. Marshmallow will also do the trick, one drop at a time.

Edit: The jury is very much out wrt splenda, sucralose, sativia (i think) not just in vaping but other applications.

Chocolate flavoring such as PA or Capella's is derived from cocoa solids, whereas milk chocolate has large amounts of cocoa butter and sugar added to it. If you want to replicate milk chocolate, you'll have to add sweetener/a sweet flavor plus a creamy flavor. I hear Ms T's has good chocolatey flavors but I'm sure she adds something other than Chocolate flavoring to make her brownies and hot chocolate (she mentions Marshmallows in the hot chocolate page).
