The even smaller ones are not said to be exactly satisfying in terms of vapour or battery life. I'd stick with the 510. I don't find they are in any way more difficult to store than analogs. But then I was used to fiddle a little with that, because I made my own analogs, so no paper boxes for me, anyway.

I'm using the M403, It's about 1mm longer than a regular king cigarette. I have a PCC for it and I keep a small bottle of juice in my 5th pocket. It's just what I need and I love it. I also have the 510. You should find you get more flavor from the m401/2/3 but not the heated throat hit that the 510 has.

As a note I don't use the carts because they leak crazy fast so dripping is what I do.

Also VG based juice will give longer vapes when dripping PG liquid only gives me 2-4 draws before I need to drip again. VG makes it 5-7 which I prefer because it fixes my nic for a hour or so.

You could try a Joye306. It was my starter model. It's shorter than the 510s and a tiny bit thinner. The 306s are fully compatible with the 510s -- the batteries and atomizers are totally interchangeable and the 306 batt even fits the 510 PCC, so you only need to buy a battery and atomizer to try it out.
The 306 batteries are automatic-only and a bit shorter than the 510 (of course, shorter batt life too), and the atomizer/cartridge is shorter because there's no mouthpiece sticking out.
(It's an exposed atomizer - you pull the cartridge off and the atomizer is just a short metal tube with the bridge and wick sticking out. You can dip it in a contact lens case rather than dripping on it.)

It's available at Electronicstix.com and ecigsupply.com (among others, I believe).

I have a Joye510 and its dimensions are similar to a 100 analog, I keep mine in my pocket all the time, whether it be a shirt pocket or the small money pocket on my jeans and never had a problem. The 510 is great I wouldn't go looking for a smaller one you might find yourself disappointed. Remember they aren't as delicate as they look.

The Joye306a is almost exactly the same size as an analog cig (8.9 cm - only 5mm longer than a regular cigarette), but as mentioned above the battery life is pretty short. I'm currently experimenting with the 306a carts (with straw mod) and atomizers, and the 510 batteries and it seems to be a pretty satisfactory combination.

As far as where to get one, I got mine at http://ecigusastore.com/
