Short of using a DIY pepper juice I've never found a strong TH w/o nic.
I can get strong smooth TH w/ PG and many VG:pGA:H20:pG ratios.
For zero juice I typically use 8:2 VG:H20 or 100% PG.
I add nic as required to get desired TH.
VG is useful for increasing viscosity.

So are you saying you get a better TH using more PG? I buy pre-mixed juices, don't mix them myself.

Many think PG brings out flavor and TH; VG brings out vapor production.
I think 20% to 50% VG is popular.
Flavoring, humidity, cart fill, viscosity, etc. affect vaping quality.
Sometimes VG increases vapor but other times it does not.
Sometimes 80% VG seems to mask flavor.
I can get good TH w/ 80% VG or 100%PG.

I'll just vote for 80%PG and 20%VG.
