Good move. You may not need the power, but you have left the door open as a future option, plus the battery life will be quite good with lower power settings

yea and it was only 80$, but i had to buy batteries and charge too. which put me way over budget, but whats done is done. + like you said, it a better buy long term.

I'd definitely go the IPV MINI.
Saw this deal on gotsmok.

Similar size to the istick, which everyone raves about being great. So much better in many ways. 30watts which is very good for anyone not trying to win cloud comps. Ability to fire lower resistance coils down to 0.5ohms. User removable/replaceable 18650 battery. Adjustable 510. If I wasn't happy with what I had, I would definitely consider the main contender with value for money, functionality and form factor. Paired with a lemo this mod will give you everything you could ask from it. And also give you the freedom to chuck on a dripper with .5ohm dual coil if you felt the temptation. I have a dna20 and I'm happy with 20watts with my Russian91percent or my cyclone+afc dripper. That dna20 cost me $180. It doesn't offer as much as this IPV MINI which will cost less than the $70 price point you set.

Good choice in the end. Did you get the plus version with the improved 510 connection?

I'm holding out for their new 50w mod.

yes i got the new version.

thats all i really wanted was a 50w device, but they were the same price. at least the 100w sigelei hold 2 batteries, so i'll get more battery life between charges.

The reason I'm holding out is because the 50w will charge directly from usb.
