Best mod for aspire Atlantis

I had a question exactly on this topic. I have the stingray mech and when i use the atlantis just after a full charge i get a burning flavor. ive tried rebuilding it but need information on what size coild and amount of wraps to use :\

I found it takes a long time for the juice to flow properly in the inner wick, and this causes the inner cotton layer on the coil to burn. I've gone through ha few coils now and found this on my first, so I "primed" the coil by flowing juice into the coil from inside, rather than just letting it flow in through the tank. The coil sucks up A LOT of juice, nearly a full ml, when saturated properly. So if you tank isn't half-full after putting a fresh coil in, the coil is not ready yet!

Once you get the coils saturated properly, you can really crank up the wattage!!

I've been usiing an Atlantis full time for a week on my first box mod, an IPV 2s. 5 adjustable watt presets (7-60), aluminum body, USB charging. 30 watts max is enough for me for now but USB charging and the presets are keepers. The battery door is attached with tiny screws that would be hard to find if dropped.

The instructions say don't vape while the device is charging. I've been ignoring that and detect no harm but can anyone who knows explain why this caution is given? Most devices that charge via USB don't have this restriction.

Is there a tube shaped mod, that can power the Atlantis, with pre sets, USB charging in use, hit counter, battery access without tools, same or better battery endurance?

I use 1.2 nic. With the atlantis 8 watts is enought if I can vape at will. If I want a nic overload in a hurry some strong hits at 20-25 watts will do it. Making impressive clouds sounds like fun but avoiding cigs is my priority for now and the Atlantis is my best tool for that at the moment.

Clouper T5 and Smok Bec Pro are both 50w tube mods that will power it fine. The T5 is huge, and requires a small phillips to replace the battery where the Bec Pro is more traditional. The T5 does have USB charging though (No pass through) Both are 50W tube mods. My wife has a T5 and I have a Bec Pro and I like them both.

I use my Atlantis on my Cloupor T8, been playing around with wattage a bit and found that around 27 watts gives me the best flavor and smoothest draw, can push it up to 35-40 watts if I want a few clouds, won't burn dry. Going to mix up some 80% VG juice tonight and see how it does, been running 50/50 for the last bit and only gotten a dry hit when I tried to chain vape at 40 watts. Overall I am loving this tank, good flavor, smooth draw, and looking forward to picking up an upgrade kit for 5ml+ capacity.

I use my Atlantis on an IPV Mini and very happy with it.

I do also use it on the Aspire CF Sub Ohm battery that I purchased with the Atlantis.
However like a mod you can't adjust anything wit the Aspire CF Sub Ohm stick.

You know Kevsters, there is a lot of choice and you have some good suggestions here but basically any 50 watt + APV will get the job done with the Atlantis.

I know regulated box mods are not as appealing as tubular mech mods but with a mech you are stuck with the limitation of the 0.5 ohm coilheads which are often closer to 0.60 ohms by all accounts.Even with a freshly charged battery it will be a stretch to get 30 watts from a mechanical and downhill from there on.

I bought the Atlantis without realising I set myself up for having to spend more money again on a regulated 50watt + mod since I only use mechs or my old 15watt max.APV's. Now I wish I'd waited and bought the new 22mm Kanger sub-tank which comes with a rebuildable deck sdo offers the chance to build true 0.5 or lower ohm coils:facepalm:

The IPV 2s seems to be a good choice right now.

Exactly how I run mine on my T8. Been running 80 vg on it for a while and loving it
