I currently use the Nautilus MIni and I love it. I'm just curious about other options. I prefer mouth to lung vaping and I'm not into sub ohming. Also, I'm not into rebuilding. I tried the Subtank Mini with the 1.2 coils, but the flavor was too muted for me. Can anyone suggest some other options? Thanks in advance!
I have 3 tanks in this class using blister pack coils.
One possible new point- clone coils for all these are being made in the USA. If your against clones these are off limits to you. I am not apposed and a package of USA made clones will be in my mailbox today (I hope) and I will know more.
Nautilus- Lotta love in this house for them but of the 3 vapers in the house none of us still use them. Ok tank, crap coils.
Kabuki- in some ways slightly better then the Nautilus but in others much worse. 510 connection is SUPER squirrely. I guess if you set it to one mod and never change mods it would be ok but I change mods often. Getting it to work on my Provari is a chore, in fact it won't currenlyt work on it at all. Very poor design. Flavor is ok, on first vape its not better then a Nautilus but then you remember how much you paid and vape again and tell yourself its better. Refill time is a pain as you need a tool. And of coarse it uses crap coils to begin with. Hopefully the clones will be better.
Triton- really good tank on the cusp of being great. The 1.8Ω coils are different in several ways from the subohm coils. Ok tank on my Provari at 15w and fantastic on the SX at 20w. Top fill. Did I mention top fill?? I meant to mention it had top fill. Flavor is roughly the same as the Kaubki and Nautilus at 15w which is about max on those tiny coils. The Tritons much larger coils handle 20w with ease (possibly more I don't know for sure) and at 20w 100% blow the Nautilus and Kabuki out of the water. Coil life seems to me much longer but don't hold me to that yet. Things I don't love about the Triton?? The top fill gave me an issue which ...... me off but its better now. I hold resentments so time will tell. The RBA part I don't care for, actually I hate it. The tank, which in theory is unbreakable, is not replaceable. Its steel encased so shouldn't ever break but if it does buying a whole new tank is prolly cheaper and you get a extra coil and new O-rings.
