I bought a Tobeco kayfun Lite Plus last week from a B&M but feel I might have overpaid. Their price was $40 but they sold it to me for $30 because an employee gave me the wrong price, a day earlier. But I still think I might have paid too much. Considering the kayfun will probably be the only thing I use from now on, I would like to buy more. I'm not exactly rich and have already dumped about $200 in my MVP2, tanks, juices, etc in the past month. Where should I go and which products are best?

FT can be sort of hit or miss. But if you stick to the ones that have lots of spare parts (screws, O-rings, extra tank sections) you'll probably do ok. Do be aware that some models use a proprietary drip tip. Of those, some come with an adapter, some don't. I don't care for stainless tips, so that's a big deal for me :)

Take this with a grain of salt, but coming from someone who has been there, don't marry yourself to much to any one product. I can't tell you how many times I did that. Liked the protank 2, so i bought a bunch of them. Switched to carto tanks, so bought a bunch of those. Got into kayfuns, and now i have 4 of those... and now I primarily drip. BUT, I only have multiples of one particular dripper, (Vulcan) because I like the clone so much I bought the authentic. (I'm slowly learning.)

My point, is that things are changing lightning fast. In vape time, the Kayfun is arguably outdated already. I still use mine when I want a tank, but I'm looking at a Lemo pretty hard these days. If you like the Kayfun, there are a lot of similar atties that you might like even more! Lemo, Orchid, Rose, just to name a few.

ETA $30 for a Kayfun at a B&M is a pretty fair price i think. They used to go for a lot more!

Well what are other good options for RBA's? I have other tanks such as an iClear 30, Pro Tank mini and a Nautilus which is a gurgling nightmare. I want to break away from buying coils since a roll of Kanthal and a bag of cotton is so much easier and cost efficient.

Yes you can buy kayfuns really cheap from fasttech, as long as you know how to rig them right. Sometimes you do get them with defects like bad insulation, defective screws, rust, shallow wicking channel, defective or missing o ring etc. But as long as you are handy with the dremmel, its easy to make them work as you like, and anyway if there is defects they'll send you replacement, as long as you have patience lol as they are slow on the shipment.

This link was posted by another member the other day. I bought this one from another vender and have not set it up yet but the fit and finish are very nice. Best I can find, it is built by a mainland china manufacturer called AMOD. Not shown in the pic are the side tapped posts. Don't know what they charge for shipping but 17 bucks is a frickin killer deal.

I would recommend the ephro. I have seen the Rockets and the cheaper clones and they arent worth the effort it woukd take to through them at the wall. 30 for a genuine Ehpro is a very fair deal. But like was said, there are alot of better designs out now so if you know what you are looking at, there are some other choices that may proform better.

I agree 30 is a good price. And with statement as well. I have so many tanks I don't use now cause I went crazy. Still kinda do. I just got elkrogine and ordered another two one for me and one for my wife. We have about 5 ibtanked and countless pt's and some kayfuns that I just can't stand any more. I would say get one of each of everything you like and don't marry anything. It changes so much it is scary.

The ehpro clone or the one from focal is good at $30. The tobeco clone is not so hot because the build quality is crap.
I'll definitely look into it. I mean I like my Tobeco better then all my other tanks. But of course I also don't have another Kayfun to compare it to. My only complaints, would be that the threading could be better and I wish the entire tank wasn't stainless so I could see how much juice I have without removing the top. I also had to give it a vinegar bath, an alcohol bath and still had to run it through the dishwasher to get the machine oil all gone.

That's not a bad price at all. I prefer EHpro and the cheapest I have found are at FluidVapes. They are the same price, $30, as you paid.

This ia the first RBA I bought. It has been practically flawless. I've used the top fill method with this one and it has yet to flood. The threads have been extremely smooth. I've purchased both the HCigar and EHPro 3.1's because I wanted more juice capacity. While they have worked nicely, they can and have been temperamental at times.
