Hey guys,
Well I'm finally ready to start using rebuildable atomizers due to my constant frustration from bottom coil clearomizers. I don't have enough money to buy the original kayfun lite so i was looking to buy the kayfun lite clone for around 40 bucks but wanted to know if I'm still going to get very good performance from it. Let me know what you think!

Little tip - you can get great performance out of most devices if you have the patience and can tinker.

I have the RSST and a Ton of other devices. I strongly believe you cannot go wrong with a KFL is you can tinker.

Cheaper yet and just as good in performance - pick up a Rocket. Tested, reviewed and highly recommended by many. Low cost investment to see if you like the style of a KFL.

I vote kayfun. Once you get the hang of it, it's fill it and go.

I've tried a few genesis tanks, they work but require more tinkering, movement adjustments while vaping (ie: tilting) most times.

My kayfun 3.1 clone works all the time. Takes just a minute to change wick and reuse coil.then fill and vape.

RSST vs Kayfun lite clone is comparing apples to oranges. The RSST is a genesis style atomizer, while the kayfun, uses a vacuum or pressure feed style wicking.

I have both tanks, and use them everyday.

RSST, great vapor production and throat hit, with an average taste. Easy rebuild. Its not very portable because it leaks when its not verticle in your pocket.

Kayfun, modest vapor production, sub par throat hit, great taste. Easy to rebuild as well. Awsome portability.

i have to disagree on the leaking part, i lost the little silicon nibblet that covers the refill hole pretty much as soon as i got it and without it it really does leak a lot on its side but i replaced it with a tightly wrapped mesh cone(much easier to handle) and if the wick is also tight in its hole it wont leak. I still don't take it outside much though but thats rather due to its soft grip on the drip tip which tends to fly off when i hit it with my arm or something

To me, the RSST chamber is far toooooo large to get a good vape. I would say a kayfun would be a better choice in my opinion. As to how a clone performs, well, I guess it's the luck of the draw. For some, it's comparable to the real thing. For others, it might be a POS. But at that price point, I think it's worth a try.

The way my build is set up, it leaks when its on its side. i have a ss mesh covered in 3mm ekowool, and I have the fill hole uncovered to have better wicking. So my set up is leak city haha

Same here, I only run into issues with 80% PG. Since I normally mix at 40% I really don't have an issue.
