They are all the same, problem is, a lot of them are a stiff draw with the new premium / ultra / turbo cartomizers, i have mine specially made for those newer ones.

As far as 'the best' that's all dependant on you, looks, draw or performance heh.

If you're still using the regular cartomizers then you can buy any manual KR808D-1 battery and it will work the same, hope that helps...

My 808s are V4Life manuals. Its time to get some more batteries. I had read somewhere that some said batteries from this place, or that were better. My only complaint with the V4L batteries is the buttons get a little tricky. I also use a riva. I just want the highest capacity manual battery 808 (longest battery life for this model. Mah)

LiteCigUSA has probably the best deals I've seen on 808 batteries outside of ordering from China:

Short (Manual only, black only) $8.95
Regular (Manual in black and steel & Auto - currently out of stock) $10.95
XL (Manual in black and steel & Auto in black, steel, and white) $12.95

If you're looking to buy in bulk you can find them for $7.60 each from heaven-gifts.com if you order 10 or more (you can mix and match colors of the same type to get discount). They currently only have regular size manual batteries in black or white. Auto batteries are out of stock.

Or you can buy 40 of them at $5.65/ea, shipped free on Ali Express. You have to plunk down $226 but it will last you forever :). For some it won't let me post the Ali Express link. Search for EK508A battery (same as the KR808D-1).

There is a believe (expressed more than once by different members on this forum) out there that V4L has best quality batteries.
Thanks to those opinions I've got my original manual starter's kit from V4L and happy with it.

... When I ordered my initial KR8, I did not order it from V4L. After comparing my friend's batt that he ordered from V4L with the one I had, I quickly discovered that not all KR8's are created equal. I ordered a manual batt from V4L and voila- with that, I was getting excellent vape with little effort. ...

I have a different take on V4L batteries. Of the 2 Ive bought, they both died within a week. Not sure Ill order any more from them! Although they did re lace them, their quality control seems to me to be a little iffy.

I have an Elegant which is 808 and I LOVE it. Got it from cigeasy. Vapornine also has a defender that is the same thing. Batteries hold charge much longer than the regular or XL batteries.

One more vote for that. Lasts much longer and charges way faster. I'm hooked on the elagant now and rarely touch my regular (V4L) batts.
