best place to get supplies?

You may know some of this, but I suppose it's worth repeating now and again. ;-)
Choc_Addic mentions Temco. They are a manufacturer, under license from Sandvik, to make genuine Kanthal wire. Always buy genuine Kanthal wire from US vendors... the China stuff is pretty inconsistent, and sometimes just plain crap.
As to on-line vendors, simply Google what you want and see what vendors pop up. "#500 stainless mesh" for example... and you get MeshWizard.com.
Most of us tend to buy attys, mods and supplies from 3-4 to as many as 15-20 different vendors, depending on their inventories and best pricing.
Fasttech is OK if you need a low price... if you don't mind the wait from China, and slow return issues. There are several vendors that price very close to Fasttech these days, with 2-4 day delivery, instead of 3-4 week delivery.
When buying clones, do your research... some are much better quality than others.

I've used madvapes, discountvapers, 101vape here in the states. I've also sent a lot of money to fasttech but keep in mind that shipping takes a while. Besides ebay, stuff is starting to show up on Amazon too. Just research the seller. Very often these smaller outfitters on ebay and amazon are fine for odds and ends.
Most supplies have an industrial/manufacturing even cosmetic/cooking use too. Mesh for filters, kanthal elements. You may find a lot local in unexpected but obvious places. UV sterilized cotton, PG, isopropanol from chemist. VG from health food shops even supermarket.
I would go local shop front for advice and good deals with convenience.
I get mesh and wire from places I found through persistence in my daily travels just by stopping in and saying hi. Mainly coincidence, but a good conversation starter when asked what they were for. Just work it in to your schedule.

I seem to be all over for things, just trying to find what I want in stock or trying to get a few different things from hopefully just one vendor so I'm not spending so much on shipping, but that usually doesn't happen.
Been waiting 6 weeks for my 1st order from Fasttech, did I say first, more like my 1st and last.
