Anyone? Looking to grab a couple more 350s and 650s... Fairy Gift has the best pricing, but the shipping kills it (you have to use UPS to get them here because China airmail won't ship batteries right now). Provape and House of Vapor run around $9 each for 350s. There's got to be a good deal going on out there... maybe a discount code or free shipping thing?

If not from RTD as noted above by Goo... this is why it's a good idea to get your batteries from a flashlight vendor like uber-reputable Lighthound. The high end flashlight community is pretty mature... they've weeded out (most) all the shady characters, so the likelihood of you getting fake AWs (or even fake Efests) is pretty slim.

Not to hijack...it's related since RTD was cited and recommended.....

I see they have different 18650's at different prices. So, I guess you have to ask yourself "best price for what?"

Also, this is very interesting:
Batteries : Panasonic High Drain NCR18650PD Hybrid 2900mAh Button Top
Batteries : Panasonic High Drain NCR18650PD Hybrid 2900mAh Protected Button Top
One is protected and the other isn't. Yet they have the same amp limits and mAh...so same chem. The protection not tripping at the usual low level of other types is interesting.

So would you guys use a protected battery like that in a mech then? (see specs). Would it help? Anyone know about these?

My only thought is that the protected version has to be slightly longer due to the added circuitry. But, if they fit in the mod, and everything else is equal, I'd think the protected version would be preferred.
