USB passthrough would probably be the quickest/easiest solution. They make car adapters for them, same thing as the car charger adapter for an e-cig, just a USB port that plugs into the cig lighter.

They make mega batteries for alot models too, which are supposed to last twice as long or so than the normal batt. I know ive seen them for 510s and the eGo, surely they make them for other models also though.

A third option would be to just purchase two batts and a car charger, charge one while you use the other, and just switch them out when the one you're using gets low.

On the matter of USB Cig Ligther adaptors for pass-thrus, go for the higher ma ratings. 500 ma might be fine for charging a battery, but not for pass-thru. 5 Volts at 2.5 Ohms draws a current of 2000 ma.

Agreed. Too many people get USB to AC power adapters that are too small. 5 volt/2 amp is the minimum IMO.

Thanks for all the advice everyone!

I actually already have a car charger that has a USB input on it so I can charge batteries while I drive. (I'll probably just have to pull over every so often to change the batteries out and put them on the charger.) I think my M402 will do for now, so I guess I'll try to save up for a better mod... Not sure if I just want to go with an Ego/Riva or get a Buzz... (I doubt I could use the Buzz while driving unless that drip tip device works really well!) Would take a bit too long for my tastes to save up/wait for an Ali'l so I'll likely go with a tube mod of some kind.

It's a shame money is so tight right now as there are so many mods and liquids I want to try! :p

Thanks again. :)

I'm really surprise someone from the go-go crowd hasn't chimed in. That would be more in your price range I think and it's supposed to go a LOOONG time.

It is surprising. But I think the GoGo has limited appeal to a lot of folks because AFAIK it is proprietary. There may be an adapter available for 808s by now I haven't followed it that closely...

I concur with the earlier posts on both the Reo Grand, or even mini, and the Go-Go. The Go-Go would be the cheapest & simplest option. I just spent two weeks with one Go-Go and a few cartos, and had no problems. It hits like a tank, and is set & forget reliable.

Now, I also just bought a Reo grande & mini, and find the flavor & vapor to be amazing, so far. The Reo Mini is now my main PV. I will, however, always keep a Go-Go in reserve, and can see it being useful in some situations (light & mobile).

And I forgot to mention the iGo... Many like that unit as it's Go-Go like, but not proprietary.

In summary, I'd say start with a Go-Go or iGo, and keep an eye out for a Reo. Both will suit your needs.

There is an 808 adapter on cigeasy. They also have an 808 to go-go adapter. I've thought about getting a 510 to 808 adpater and the 808 to go-go adapter to put a go-go cart on an eGo. :)

This video will help you on a budget. YOU MUST BE HANDY TO DO THIS! This seems like a good HOMEMADE solution to some juice feeding problems with cartomizers. If I didnt have a reo, I would most definately make one. also there are other options that cost more, but dont require handiness such as the map tank or gigantomizers. hope that helps, but also if you have time, this vid is awesome and worth a watch!

Just took a 3 day road trip with a Darwin and a Giantomizer carto....

Made the entire trip on a single charge and carto fill and used the heck outta the thing for at least 8 hours of that trip (4 hour drive out, another 4 hours home)...the rest of it was casual 20 hit breaks every hour so.

Didn't have a single leak issue...the only 'strange look' was someone who wanted to know what kind of 'cell phone' I was carrying ;)
