Hey folks. I have been vaping a while and using the evod bcc. After noticing the coil life taking a serious decline in quality since I started with it (going through 1-2 coils a day instead of a week), I asked for advice on this forum. That led me to the new style dual coil tanks. The mini pro tank 3 and the evod glass. Both work great and produce great taste and vapor but again, the coils last no longer it seems. My all day vape is dekang pg desert ship/kamel as it always has been. I am not looking to rebuild my own coils.
What I want to find is a clearomizer that may not be the biggest, or best, or most hyped but one that the atomizers/coils last more than 1 day. Granted I am a heavy vapor and when I say I am going through a coil a day that means about 3 full mini pro tanks worth.

Many thanks.

It depends so much on the liquid you use, the voltage or wattage you vape at and your style of vaping. Also, are they actually quitting working, or do they just need cleaning? I use a number of different single bottom coil clearos, all using the Kanger type of coils, and even with my most coil gunking liquid I usually get at least three days between cleaning, and can clean and reuse them multiple times.

I vape dekang desert ship pg. Its pretty thin. All my batteries are the same, the 3.7v ego-t. I am a heavy vaper. They don't stop working, they just don't work as good. An example being I have to puff on that thing a good 2-3 times to get anything out of it. I have disassembled them to clean and they just never work as good. I have seen videos where they take the top shaft of the atomizer apart and when they dry burn the remaining water out of the coil, it glows red all the way across. Mine never do. Just one end (on the ones I bothered cleaning),
To add: I have used the 1.8 ohm and the 2.2 ohm for the bcc and the 1.5 and 2.0 of the dual coil.

I'm pretty happy with the dual coil in my aerotank but not so much in any others. Beyond that I've found it's too much of a liability for me to leave the house with only a dual coil tank. I go through way too much juice. Also, I haven't had much luck at all cleaning or dry burning them so I've just quit even trying. I just feel a lot more comfortable with a single coil design. That being said, I do love pyrex. I was just commenting in another thread that I wish there were more options for small, simple pyrex bottom single coil tanks.

I've not done well cleaning with water and now use alcohol, letting I dry naturally or giving it a hairdryer blast. I don't dry burn..

I 've had the best success with all of the Aspire Line. The most recent Aspire Nautilus Mini with BVC coil is giving a very nice vape, single coil, and lasts a bit longer than other clearo's I've used. The bad news is that you go through liquid faster, so it needs to be filled frequently. The BVC coil can be used in the larger Aspire Nautilus, but it would probably be top heavy on that size battery.

My vaping style, for some unknown reason, never took to any of the IClears or Protanks. For me the Evod was better, but not near as nice overall as even the first Aspires.

Carto tank may be a good option too, especially since it looks like your liquid is all PG.

I also suggest rotating devices. Instead of overworking one, let it rest as you use another.

I was looking at the nautilus and heard good things about the bvc heads. That is one thing I have always done, overwork my tanks. I used the first one for 9 months until I dropped it for the umpteenth time and the inner shaft came loose. I actually sent a comment to kanger (like that will help) and asked them whats going on with their coils. I guess I just vape too much.

I sincerely doubt you vape too much. Carto's and Clearo's are made to be somewhat disposable, so 9 months with one tank is pretty amazing.

Some people like to clean their tanks and coils a lot and I can see how that can help. Some do it every night....either just rinse in water, or a short dip in some Everclear or cheap Vodka. Also, keep your tank from going dry, and add liquid earlier than you have been. As the heat evaporates the liquid a bit, it can get thick when levels are low and that will turned to gunk on the coils fairly quickly.

I have noticed when I rotate devices several times a day the coils can handle more liquid through them before whimping out. It's an early tip I learned and use frequently. When the "topper" starts to get hot, not just warm, I often rotate to another.

If you drop things often, you should get one of those metal covered glass "tubes" for the nautilus. They are available for both sizes. There is even a part "plastic" and metal one available on Ebay for the larger Nautilus. I don't recommend the all steel as you can't see the liquid level.

I've also enjoyed the new Mega Kanger Aerotank-- but I also don't vape at lower than average heat levels. The Nautilus BVC can be vaped at higher voltages/watts effectively and has been getting a lot of attention because it wicks well at up to something like 15 watts.

I have tried kanger protanks with and without the aero sleeve, kanger aerotanks, aspire nautilus{both regular and mini} and carto tanks.I sold them all except my aerotanks.
I settled back on Kanger aerotanks as the only regular style tanks I will use. I have two minis, a regular, and a mega. I use 1.5 ohm coils, and 2.0 ohm coils, the new style. I get a lot of life from them, and a great vape. I generally run the minis on an Innokin vv3, the regular on my Innokin mvp 2.0 {these are my out on the town mods}. I run the mega on my dragon mini provari.
