Best RTA?

I need help with the RBA also. I started vaping 10 months ago with a basic ego tank and have since moved on to a mechanical mod with a Aero Mega. I bought the kayfun lite and spent a lot of time building coils until I got it perfect, fixed it all up only to find that it wasn't even close to what I expected. I don't know if I did something wrong or what but I really do get the most rich flavor from my aero mega and my t-Dux 4 that I ever did from the kayfun. I also bought a basic rda to play with and after several builds I still don't understand what the hype is about. My liquid didn't taste any better (once it had a metal like taste), plus it took lots of time to get the coil built right, and it leaked. Why do all that instead of using a tank with a replacement coil? Am I missing something? I used kanthal wire and ekowool when I built the coil, if I did this wrong or forgot to do something I would really like to know. I want to get some use out of my $45 kayfun :)

I don't own one, My son does. I prefer mechs , DNA and SX350 devices. I like Kayfuns and Russians on top of any device. RDA's on the weekend.
OP I tired the new Fogger 4.1 its better than the older version I had but it's still a bit finicky for a first time rebuildable. The Kayfun and Russian are much easier to build.

Thanks for the tip! How do the Kayfun and Russian 91 compare, if you don't mind me asking?

It's hard to find a tank in my opinion that can compare with dripping in flavor and vapor production. If you like the dripping, but hate to drip, you ought to check out a Reo. It carries the juice onboard and uses bottom fed RDAs. Check it out.

Ahhhhh . . . You Reo fans are getting me to pull the trigger on one. I love dripping and have been thinking about it. Have been thing about a Reo and an Odin combo. I have Loki Labs first RDA, the Omega, so I think the Odin should be excellent.

Moving on . . . I have not purchased any new RTAs since I bought my 2 KayFun Lites and 2 GG Ithakas. There may be better performing RTAs out there, but I have been content with these for over a year.

Going to throw another non-RTA but massive capacity RDA into the mix - the Cats Dripper, purely as it holds a massive amount of juice (1-1.5ml with cotton) hits like a dripper and doesn't leak whatsoever (in any direction).

I'm a chain vaper,10+ml a day and was looking at the Kayfun and Kraken originally as replacements for my Era's and Forge atty's due to leakage and a PITA refilling. Super happy with this bad kitty as can go 20-30 mins chain vaping without needing a refill or 1+ hour of "regular" frequent use in the pub.

If its just the constant dripping that irks you its worth a looksie, you can literally pour the juice in.

Sounds great. I'll look into this one.

There are these pretty new things they call RDTAa, which are basically drippers with a tank to hold more liquid. Currently, I know The Big Dripper RDTA (Google for it, as I can't post links yet), but it is expected that all the big names in dripping (Magma, Zenith, Stillare, etc) will eventually get their tank). Might be the solution to have the vape quality of a dripper and the autonomy of a tank.

Already posted the Pontus, which is a cheaper (and some would say a better designed) Big Dripper.
Having said that, the clone of the Big Dripper is already available for pre-order.

Version 1.5 of the EHPro Pontus is being released soon (according to the pontus thread on here), so keep an eye out for that. Not sure what the changes will be, but from what I hear it is already a pretty good Tank Dripper.

The Orchid apparently has interchangeable parts with the Kayfun, so you might be able to get rid of the opaque tank and replace it with the SS parts of the Kayfun.
I would be interested to hear from someone who has both as to whether this is actually the case...

I am waiting on the V2 or V3 Orchid Clone before I get one, this version has a fill hole on the bottom (similar to the Kayfun Lite + V2).

Looks interesting! It seems to be out of stock just about everywhere, looks like I get to play the waiting game!

Oh you can find them, have one in the cart, but wishing for a SS tank version. Generally when a new item hit's the ecf with favorable reviews, it quickly becomes hard to find. Just don't understand why?? lol

The Big Dripper Dripping rba by sub ohm innovations, is another Fine Dripping tank atomizer, similar in design with the Pontus. Absolutely loving the Big D.

The Flash-e-vapor is another dripper with a tank, but with transfer wicks from the tank to the build, vapes outstandingly too. The Big Buddha, is probably one of the best Kayfun style rba's, but with dual coils and much better and bigger than the Kayfun/Russian. But is for 26650 mods. Quite nice though.

Lots of great contenders out there, and more hitting the market every day. Crap, even the changeable attys are looking quite nice, compared to a year ago, some looking as nice as high end rba's, well almost.:D

I use a Kayfun Lite, Russian 91%, Fogger V4, Tai Fun clone, and an eXpromiser. I love them all but I can honestly say I've used the eXpromiser more than any of them...but they're all great. The Fogger is probably my least favorite out of the group, but still works well...

I'm getting a eXpromizer V 1.1 for my birthday.... Been reading up on these and they seem to have all the bases covered. :)

I have heard of the BIG dripper. Similar attys are the Pontus by EHPro and the 3D. The problem with the BIG dripper and the Pontus are they are hard to get your hands on, and the BIG dripper is $130 and has yet to be cloned. I'm just not really interested in the 3D

Hmm, guess I was lucky then, found both the B.D. & P, and found the B.D.C. too, so figured I'd order the clone also. Big Dripper is a simple design so the clone should be pretty decent.
