So far, I've been partial to Halo Tribeca. I've tried many, believe me. It's a good balance, maybe with the vanilla standing out a bit more. I think it's probably better the lower the nic. Something to me at least doesn't taste well at 24mg (not the same case with me and their other juices). If you like the Liberty Flights though, why change?

Gee; I thought I was going to be the only person here that put a vote in for Dekang, but "hairball" likes it too. My all day/main vape is Dekang DK-TAB and I top it off here and there with Dekang RY4.

Norman

DK-Tab is my favorite. Vaped it since day one. You stole my heart. I've never tried the 2 mixed together but I see it happening now.

thats crazy, i to bought boba, im vapin it right now, but yeah it has like a cologne or alcahol tase to it. too bad i bought 30ml, now im stuck with it till i find a good ry4 type juice.. i heard all the hype about boba, but like they say everyones taste is different. unless i got a weird batch idk

Heard so many recommendations for RY4, kinda like Bobba's. So, I broke down and bought some and it has an overwhelming cologne taste, really bad. Not gonna bash the vendor, but is this normal or is it just one of the vendor to vendor variations?

I think you'll love it! RY4 can be "too much" by itself sometimes (for me anyway), so I vape DK-TAB all day and when I need a bit of a "change up" I top off with RY4. Let me know how it works out for you. These 2 flavors are about all I've vaped for the last 6 months!

For all the people who bought something and thought it tasted weird, make sure you let it sit for awhile before you give up on it.

Many fresh-made juices NEED to steep for awhile before the juice reaches it's true potential.
Some juices need as long as one month for me to think they are ready.

As for RY4 flavors, they are all different, and it just depends on what you like.
Getting random recommendations for RY4 may not be all that helpful.
:(

For instance, the Halo Tribeca that was recommended above is a fantastic tasting juice.
But it was way too sweet for me, and I got rid of it.

My favorite RY4 is the VR4 from Vaperite.
It's a lot more subtle than most, which is what I like.

And it won an award for best RY4, whatever that is worth.
:)

check my post above

Nope, I haven't found anything similar. I know what you mean about price, but I just stomach it at this point. I've found RY4s that are decent, just not similar. Even if they get a similar mix of tobacco, caramel, and vanilla in roughly the same range, Halo still uses unique ingredients. So it's not the same. I've found many Chinese juices have similar type of ingredients amongst themselves, even if there are subtle changes in the mix. The Dekang RY4's vanilla profile is something I've detected in others.

I'm not here to bash any vendors either and I've never tried any Bobba's product, but there are certain liquids/juices I've tried that have far too much of a perfume smell/taste to them for my liking but for all I know that's what other vapors want. To each his own...

I can usually tell by the smell of something whether I will like it or not.

If you don't let it steep, you might be making a big mistake.

See my post above, which you may have missed.

No; I didn't miss your post. I don't like certain "bases" or "basic ingredients" and no amount of letting them steep changes that fact. I have 2 brands of juices that have been in the kitchen cabinet since December 2011 and no matter what I try and do to "steep" them doesn't change the fact that I still hate the taste. I hope that's fine with you...

Like I said, I'm not bashing any particular vendor, especially the one the above poster mentioned as I've never tried their juices.

Thanks,

Norman

I feel that way about many of the Halo juices...
--Freedom
--Smooth 8
--Torque 56
--Bella Valente

They all taste like ginger to me, no matter how long I let them steep.

Having said that, I love their Prime 15 and I am kind of fond of their Tiki juice.
Those flavors do not have that same ginger-tasting (to me) base.
