Not going to get into a whole safety thing, but if your friend's MVP is using a .6 ohm coil, and firing, that means the MVP is malfunctioning, and pulling at least 6 amps (even at 3.7 volts). What could happen? Well the amp limit on the MVP is rated at 3 amps, so it is not likely, but certainly possible that the battery could explode and disfigure your friends face. Just being honest.
