A lot of people will say get an ego and that's a good option , but I always tell people wanting to give e cigs a try to buy a 2 piece kr808 set up . I think the kr808 is an easy 2 piece setup that won't require you to mess with juices untill you get more comfortable with the e cig . There are lots of places to buy them but a good place to start is vapor4life.com. I'm pretty sure you can get a whole kit and try many different flavors for under a 100 dollars . Good luck

If you want something small since your a very light smoker, you could try one of the smaller pv's like a KR808 or a 510.

KR808- Vapor 4 Life, Volt, Bloog. They're small, cigarette size, battery lasts a couple hour 2 piece pv (carto & battery)
510- Similiar to the KR808 in size. Can be used as a two piece (carto & battery) or three piece (cartridge, atomizer & battery)

You can get a good brand from one of the registered vendors for $35-$45. To start out with, I'd get 30 ml of juice and a box of cartomizers for the KR808 or the 510. I'd also get either a pcc (personal charge case) or some extra batteries. All of this will definitely be under $100.

If you want a bigger battery pv that lasts longer (8 hours) but doesn't look like a cig, an ego is a good pv. You can get one for about the same price as the 510 or KR808.

Light smoker, 3-5 cigarettes a day. I don't really care about looks, but would like to get started for under $100, just to see if it's something I want to do.

Have you ever tried a pv? If not, you could try a disposable first. Most aren't very good but I tried this one and that's when I decided that I could vape and would like it. It's not the most economical way to go. You could put the money toward a kit that will last, but if you want to try vaping first it's a good disposable to try.

Hi Kitkat- I am only new on here but can say from my limited experience that PG seems to work best with cartomiser-based devices. I started off using a Liberro Realis (among other things) which is like a very small 510 but which uses cartos. I found it worked much better with PG than with VG, which is thicker and dissipates more slowly inside your PV. I would also agree that you should get a disposable before you splash out on a kit.
