I need to get some more batteries, specifically some imr 18500's / 490s - I have tons of batteries - I mostly use 650's and have a few 350's and my usual shopping stops. Any new suggestions would b appreciated. Where do u buy your batteries from?
RTD Vapor AW Batteries is a great site for batteries, member baditude referenced the site to me and i was happy with their inventory, product and service
How do you know if the batteries are "protected"? Reading some scary postings and unsure if my batteries are safe or if i need to order new ones. I went to rtd site I dont see where it shows if they are protected either? thanks

RTD clearly states in the description whether their batteries are protected or IMR (safer chemistry). Genuine AW Batteries at RTD Vapor
Unprotected safe chemistry batteries are labeled IMR. Panasonic will label their IMRs as CGR and their protected variety as NCR. AW labels their safe chemistry batteries as IMR (red batteries) and their protected variety as IC (black batteries).
