Hello there,

I have only started smoking recently for maybe about a year.. and I know it is beginning to get increasingly hard to stop smoking. I consider myself a social smoker.. I smoke when others around me smoke, I smoke when I drink and I enjoy a smoke after a meal. I am looking to get an e-cig so I can smoke a bit less but still get my nicotine fix..

I have been doing some research on a starter kit for myself..
A couple that I have looked at are the Blu, the JOYE eGo, the Bloog..
Most of these are about the 65-75$ price range which fits my budget.

I have no experience with E-Cigs but I feel they are a good direction to go towards.
Any recommendations?

Hi and welcome to ECF. First off, pass on the Blu. There's much better units out there that cost way less and perform better. As Aeric suggested the eGo or Riva can be had for cheap at Liberty Flights Riva 510. There's also a 20% off coupon here Liberty Flights coupon code that'll bring it to less than $40. It'll give great battery life and can take the T-tanks and atty's if you decide to go that route later. In the mean time it should give you enough extra $$$ to get some juice.

If you're wanting something smaller there's the Litecigusa.net KR808d-1. It uses the same stuff as the Bloog but costs less. Battery life isn't as good as the Riva, but it doesn't look like you smoke much anyway so you might want to consider it.

Either way, get some juice to start with. I'd suggest around 40 ml of different strengths and flavors so you have some variety and you can find out what nic level you need.
