there are a lot of options
going to a regulated box mod should be a nice upgrade for you

if you can i would suggest getting a mod and a tank seperate (dont forget in most cases you will need batteries and a charger 2)

i dont know the smok kit (others will be able to give info on that one)
have a look at the kangertech topbox(mini) they can come in a set (mod+tank) wife has the kbox mini (mod only) daughter has the set (kbox mini + tank) we had a lot of leaking issues with that tank the coils have quality control issues

atm i'm using a joyetech cuboid with a smok tfv4 tank and a bachelor rta have more but thats over 95% wat i use

an other mod to look at would be the rx200

you will notice that you have different wattage levels and a different amount of batteries, keep your budget in mind
and its not becouse a device can deliver 200W that it has to
i use the cuboid at 30-40W bachelor (mostly temp control) or 70-95 tfv4 depending on the coil

for tanks you can look at aspire, joyetech cuboid (some love some hate, i like but prefer others), smok tfv4, .... hae a look in the tank sections, look on youtube (then come search the things you find here for a more honest review ;p)

There are all kinds of good ones out there, but before I can advise you, tell me more about how you like to vape. Are you mouth-to-lung? I assume you are, coming from a pen. You want to stay there? Or were you interested in trying a direct lung subohm tank? What PG/VG ratio do you like in your juice? I like the Knager Topbox kit as mentioned above, but some of the tanks leak. Others don't, so I suspect a QC issue on them. Even so, the tank that comes with it will do MTL, but it's not ideal for it. You could pair the mod only with something like a eLeaf GS tank-- there's several models-- which has MTL coils, and temp control as well.

Hi All,

I am keen to learn all about temperature control starter kit. Please help. I have a JPVapor pen but I think that is just a beginners vaporizer. I am looking into box mod like Smok starter kit and also using VG e liquid which I believe will give much more satisfaction to smoking it.

Hi. Yes... an upgrade is good. A box mod is better, more reliable and works out cheap enough in the long run.
I actually disagree about high VG and 'satisfaction'. I like to feel my vapor and get a little throat hit which is why I vape 12mg and at least 50% PG.
I have vaped 6mg (or even 3mg) in high VG at high power. I can't say I was 'satisfied'... I vaped 100% VG at 100w and whilst entertaining, I can't say I noticed much other than the 3 minutes it took for the room to clear of cloud.
