how do you know if a juice needs to be steeped?

That's probably something you would have to decide for yourself..if you notice a juice tastes better after having it awhile and get a new one and it's not as good it probably needs steeping..a lot of things taste better with aging (called steeping with e-juice)..who knows you might like it fresher or you might like one aged another fresh..personal preference..also you probably would always want to try a juice when you get it before you decide because it could come already steeped to your liking ;)

Some juices require steeping because they're so fresh- many tobaccos are better after steeping. Sometimes steeping will remove the perfume odor/ taste. Many vapers have found a juice they have bought and absolutely detest tastes great after steeping.
Im gonna try this with a bottle of nasty juice and see if it doesn't help
